BREAKING NEWS: George axed from show completely as fans slam ‘rigged’ vote
The Love Island has officially ended with Lorenzo Alessi and Julia Majchrzak announced as winners, beating out stiff competition from Kavan Murphy and Jasmine Muller.
However, it wasn’t without drama as one Islander was noticeably absent from the proceedings, while fans were convinced that there was drama brewing between others.
Since their win, some fans have voiced their doubts about Julia and Lorenzo’s relationship, but Lorenzo has hit back at those comments, saying that he understands where they’re coming from, as he and Julia have not been as quick to go through milestones on TV, but that pressure would have “ruined things” for him.
This hasn’t been helped by lingering beliefs that Lorenzo and Jasmine had feelings for each tother. When Jasmine learned that the public were calling her and Lorenzo ‘Jarenzo’, she visibly cringed and looked horrified as she covered Kavan’s ears.

Speaking to the Daily Star on bhealf of Top Rated Bingo Sites, astrologer Inbaal Honigman predicted that Yasmin and Tommy are the couple most likely to go their separate ways after departing the ITV show.
She claimed their relationship was characterised by a lack of shared interests and their schedules will get in the way. She declared: “Without any passions and interests in common, they’ll spend their time initially waiting for each other to finish their activities, then they’ll just spend longer and longer apart, and eventually they’ll fizzle out, each declaring the other one to be boring.”
But its not all bad news for Yasmin, who was forecast to have a glowing solo career.
Despite the official reveal, some were far from convinced. One user on Instagram said: “I actually dont believe this but ok.” Another added: “How is this even possible? They were barely a couple. Lorenzo didnt even want a gf! This isn’t friend island! So weird!”

Lorenzo is a fashion entrepreneur from Hertfordshire. He co-established a luxury Mediterranean-influenced menswear brand called Palmera in December 2024.
He also hails from a family with some serious celebrity connections that left viewers stunned during the show’s ‘Friends and Family’ visit. His father, Oz, is a former high-profile celebrity bodyguard and works as a doorman at the famous celebrity haunt Sheesh, the renowned restaurant located in Chigwell, Essex.

ITV have shared the results of the Love Island final’s public vote – and it wasn’t even close.
They shared both how the votes looked when Angelista and Simba came third, and how they changed once the two had been elimintated. Before third place was revealed, Julia and Lorenzo had 46.9% of the vote, while Jasmine and Kavan were far behind with 27.1% and Angie and Simba had 26%.
Once it was down to two couples, Lorenzo and Julia’s votes made up 62.4% of the vote, with Jasmine and Kavan at 37.6%.
On The Debrief, Jasmine was told about how the public have been calling her and Lorenzo ‘Jarenzo’, thanks to their hopes that the two would reconcile.
Shakira Khan remarked that it was Kavan who was “obsessed with Jarenzo”, to which Jasmine asked: “What is Jarenzo?”
Shakira said: “Jarenzo… You’re gonna crash out when you see these edits.”
A horrified Jasmine the responded: “Oh nooo.” She covered Kavan’s ears as he asked if he should delete TikTok.
Love Island winner Amber Gill has said she thinks the show should “scrap Casa Amor” and that the Casa girld “ruined it” by not having a “thick skin”.
“I feel like they need to scrap Casa Amor,” she said in a TikTok video. “The Casa girls have just ruined it. You can’t come in bold and then not be bold. You’re not scared to steal someone’s man, you didn’t give a f*** about their feelings, you weren’t afraid to step on toes, and you need to have a thick skin to match it.
“Obviously people aare not going to like you automatically and you need to firm not being liked. I know its the format of the show and it’s Love Island, but when you’re in there, it’s real thoughts and feelings. So just because it’s Love Island you can’t be like ‘Oh I’ll let you off this one time, let’s be best friends’ It’s difficult to do.
“What did you think they were going to do? Bring out the welcome banner after you just took my man? If you know you’re a sensitive Sally don’t go on at that point. That’s the worst point to go on.”
This came just after Casa girl Julia, who said she thought the Islanders weren’t always the nicest to the Casa girls, won the show.

Lorenzo: “We haven’t gone through some of the stages the other couples have – L bombs, girlfriend/boyfriend, and I didn’t want to rush anything. I’m a slow burner, and we’ve only known each other for four weeks and I have loved every second of that and putting pressure on that just because the show was coming to an end would have ruined things.
“We have built this amazing connection and amazing foundation, and now I want us to experience the next milestones in the real world. Julia really changed my time in there – I was quite passive until Casa and the minute I got there, there was an instant spark and that’s where it changed for me and I put my foot on the gas.”
Winners Lorenzo and Julia have said what they plan to do with the £50k prize money – and it’s not moving in together, like Julia said during the final.
Lorenzo said he wanted to get himself a gift: “I want to get myself a nice token from this experience, maybe a watch or something to commemorate it. I’ve realised I’m quite a sentimental person. Last night I kept the cork from the champagne that they gave us after the show. Just little things to celebrate what a journey it has been.”
Likewise, Julia wants something new to wear: “Heels! I’m getting myself a nice pair of heels.

Lorenzo and Julia were asked at what moment they realised their connection was something special.
Lorenzo suggested it was due to the ‘heat’ Julia got from the other girls: “I felt like it was after coming back from Casa when there was lots of heat on Julia. I actually really cared for her and that’s never happened before. I’ve never had to deal with situations like that, and if I didn’t have feelings I wouldn’t have been so caring or given as much time to the situation. I’ve always said I need big, dramatic moments to know how I feel.
Julia added: “Lorenzo was so supportive during the situation with Lola and from that moment all the little moments started to feel very real.”
Winner Julia was asked how her Love Island experience was and said: “Boobalicious experience! Crazy journey, very heightened in terms of emotions.”
Her partner, Lorenzo, said that it was a “fever dream” and she added that it was like being Barbie in a doll house.
Acording to celebrity PR specialist Kayley Cornelius, who spoke to The Tab on behalf of Top Rated Bingo Sites, Lorenzo could be the first male Love Islander to reach the levels of fame that Molly-Mae Hague, Olivia Attwood, Maura Higgins and other female islanders have had.
“Love Island has become a machine for creating stars, but Lorenzo could be set to flip the script this year. Traditionally, it’s been the female Islanders who have emerged as the biggest stars and earners from the show, but Lorenzo looks on track to become the person brands are fighting to work with straight out of the villa,” she said.
She estiamted he could earn five-figure sums for photo shoots and brand deals, especially if he builds his personal brand up.
