Princess Kate has received an unexpected invitation to appear on Kylie Kelce’s Not Gonna Lie podcast after impressing the host during her recent visit to Scotland.
Kylie, who is married to Jason Kelce, publicly praised the Princess of Wales after watching footage of Catherine trying her hand at shinty during a visit to the Isle of Bute earlier this month.
The appearance prompted Kylie to suggest that Kate could join her podcast to talk about sport, motherhood and the interests they appear to share.
“Princess Kate just reminded everyone that she’s still an absolute boss at field hockey,” Kylie said.

Although Catherine was actually playing shinty — a traditional Scottish sport — Kylie jokingly claimed some of the Princess’s ability came from her experience playing field hockey.
The host was quick to acknowledge the difference before doubling down on the comparison.
“For everyone in the comments who are about to correct me, I’m aware that she’s actually playing the Scottish sport of shinty,” Kylie said.
“I’m still calling it a win for field hockey because where do you think she got that skill? Yeah, that’s right. She’s a field hockey player.”
Kylie also complimented Catherine’s appearance, saying the royal looked “beautiful doing it”.
The comments then turned into a direct invitation.
‘We’d Love to Have You’
Addressing the Princess personally, Kylie suggested there would be plenty for the pair to discuss.
“Princess Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, if you ever wanted to come on and chit-chat about some field hockey and maybe kids,” she said.
“I don’t know. We got a couple of things in common.”
Kylie then referenced the existing connection between their families.
“Our husbands chatted on the other podcast,” she added.
“But you could come on this one. I don’t know. Just a thought. It’s a thought. We’d love to have you. No pressure. Please.”
There is no indication in the source that Catherine has responded to the invitation or that an appearance on Not Gonna Lie is currently being arranged.
For now, it remains an enthusiastic public invitation from Kylie rather than a confirmed booking.

The Waleses and Kelce family are not complete strangers.

William also met members of the Kelce family through Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.
In 2024, the Prince of Wales celebrated his 42nd birthday by attending Swift’s Wembley Stadium concert with Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Jason later spoke warmly about meeting the royal family, although he admitted Charlotte had made the strongest impression on him.
“I gotta say, Prince William was fantastic when I met him, but the highlight was Princess Charlotte,” he said on New Heights.
Jason described her as “adorable” and said she had “fire to her” because she was asking questions during their meeting.
Report Frames Invitation as Fresh Meghan Comparison
The original report presented Kate’s invitation as another contrast with Meghan Markle, referring to earlier claims that the Duchess of Sussex had hoped to receive an invitation connected with Taylor Swift but did not.
However, Kylie’s invitation itself made no reference to Meghan.
Her comments were focused entirely on Catherine’s sporting appearance, their shared experiences as mothers and the previous contact between their husbands.
The podcast invitation therefore stands on its own as a light-hearted offer prompted by Kate’s appearance in Scotland.
Whether Catherine ever accepts remains to be seen, but Kylie left little doubt that the invitation is open.
