Prince Harry has “no plans” to return to the UK despite the recent “peace talks” in London, sources have claimed. Hopes for a possible reconciliation between the Duke of Sussex and the Royal Family emerged after pictures were shared online of a secret meeting in London between the Sussex aides and those of the King.

Harry’s chief communications officer, Meredith Maines and Liam Maguire, who runs the Sussexes’ PR team in the UK, were snapped on a balcony close to Clarence House in London, having a chat with Tobyn Andreae, the King’s communications secretary. Prince William’s aides were not in attendance.

But despite the latest updates a new report has cited sources close to Harry, who claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very much enjoying their life in Montecito, California and do not wish to move back to Britain.

A source told the Mail: “They’re [Harry and Meghan] very happy living in and raising their family in California and, as it stands, have no plans to leave.

They added that the couple do not wish to re-establish themselves in Harry’s home country.

It was also claimed that Harry will come back to the UK to proomte his various charitable causes and patronages but without Meghan.

The outlet claimed: “There is no question of a full return to the UK for him or the family.”

Back in May, after losing a Court of Appeal challenge over his security arrangements in the UK, the duke gave an interview to the BBC in which he said the King will not speak to him and he does not know how much longer his father, who is being treated for cancer, has left.

He expressed his wish for reconciliation with his family and told the BBC his court defeat was a “good old-fashioned establishment stitch-up” and that he could not see how he could bring his wife and children safely back to the UK.

Following Harry’s BBC interview, Buckingham Palace said in a statement: “All these issues have been examined repeatedly and meticulously by the courts, with the same conclusion on each occasion.”
