BREAKING: Prince William’s ‘savage response’ as Harry and Meghan given ‘brutal Charles putdown’
Prince William is reportedly refusing to be drawn into renewed drama surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle following their return to the UK, as King Charles moves to make their non-working royal status unmistakably clear.
TalkTV presenter Mark Dolan discussed the situation during an appearance on News24, formerly Sky News Australia, claiming the Prince and Princess of Wales had been left unsettled by the Sussexes’ unexpected move back to Britain.
“According to Vanity Fair and my good friend, Katie Nicholl, William and Catherine feel completely derailed at this unexpected return of the Sussexes,” Dolan told presenter Paul Murray.
He went on to make a series of claims about why Harry and Meghan may have returned after six years in California, including speculation about their finances and Harry’s US immigration situation.
Those claims have not been confirmed by the Sussexes.
Dolan Claims William Is ‘In No Mood to Reconcile’
Dolan suggested King Charles remains more open to repairing his relationship with Harry, while William is taking a much harder line.
“Clearly, King Charles is warm to some kind of reconciliation, to rebuild a relationship with the Sussexes, but William is not having it,” he said.
He then made an even stronger claim about the brothers’ relationship.
“I’m hearing that William despises his brother; he’s in no mood to reconcile,” Dolan alleged.
There has been no public statement from William confirming that description of his feelings toward Harry.
Dolan also referenced royal author Robert Jobson, saying William and Kate were refusing to engage with what Jobson described as the “circus” surrounding the Sussexes.

The presenter argued that Harry and Meghan’s return could create a media challenge for the Waleses regardless of how much official work they carry out.
“It doesn’t matter how many hospital wings they open, the Sussexes are going to get the headlines,” he said.
He added that he did not necessarily believe those headlines would be positive for Harry and Meghan.
Visa and Financial Claims Remain Unproven
Dolan also speculated that Harry’s US visa situation may have contributed to the couple’s decision to return.
He claimed Harry was concerned about whether questions surrounding past drug use and immigration paperwork could become a problem.
However, the source does not establish that Harry was dishonest on any visa application, nor does it confirm that his immigration status forced the couple to leave the United States.
Dolan additionally claimed the Sussexes were “going flat broke” and had returned to Britain “in retreat.”

King Charles Makes Royal Status Clear
The discussion came as King Charles issued a letter clarifying Harry and Meghan’s position following their return with Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five.
The letter was reportedly sent to Harry’s team as well as government departments, military officials and Lord Lieutenancies.
It reiterated that the couple remain non-working members of the Royal Family and that their HRH styles remain in abeyance and are not used.
Their charitable and commercial work will continue in a private capacity rather than on behalf of the Sovereign.
Royal historian Alexander Larman described the message on GB News as a “brutal putdown,” arguing that it removed any ambiguity over how the Sussexes should be treated.
“They’ve been put in their place here,” he said, before questioning what might happen next.

The King’s message also said that questions from organisations about courtesies extended to Harry and Meghan, particularly where public funds may be involved, should be directed to Buckingham Palace.
The clarification effectively separates the couple’s family connection to the King from their formal role within the monarchy.
For William, according to the latest commentary, that distinction appears especially important.
While Charles may be open to improving personal relations with Harry, reports continue to suggest the Prince of Wales wants firm boundaries and no return to a “half in, half out” arrangement.
