Strictly Come Dancing’s Dianne Buswell has been left emotional after her partner Joe Sugg posted a touching pregnancy update just hours before the series kicked off its first live show of 2025. The professional dancer, who is expecting her first child with Joe, melted hearts as the YouTuber revealed that she had already bought their unborn son his very first outfit — an adorable bunny suit.

Joe’s Instagram post gave fans a glimpse into his recent weeks, from jokey run-ins with pal Caspar Lee to a cheeky quip about giving Strictly contestant George Clarke tips on loosening up his hips before hitting the dancefloor. But it was his final snap that had everyone talking —the baby’s first outfit. Dianne couldn’t resist commenting: “The little bunny suit,” followed by a crying emoji. The couple had already announced their pregnancy earlier this year with a sweet video set to Elton John’s Tiny Dancer.

The video shows them painting stick figures of themselves with a child and the year “2026.” Joe closed the clip with the words: “Our little baby boy. We can’t wait to meet you.”

Famous faces were quick to flood their latest update with messages of support. Gorka Marquez wrote: “Oh this is the best news! Big congratulations to you both.” Aljaz Skorjanec said: “You two are gonna be the most epic parents ever,” while Tess Daly added simply: “The very best news.”

Fans joined in with messages such as: “Good luck Dianne and congratulations to you and Joe sending you all my love and wishes for the show tonight as well,” and: “Awww Mummy and baby boy heading into the new season.”

Joe wasn’t done celebrating either. After the Strictly launch, he shared a screenshot of Dianne meeting her new partner, Neighbours legend Stefan Dennis, captioning it: “Here’s team Aussie,” with an Australian flag emoji.
