CONGRATULATIONS! Lorraine Kelly’s daughter is officially married and shares ‘special’ update
Lorraine Kelly’s daughter Rosie announced her marriage and people are delighted for her.
Rosie, Lorraine and husband Steve Smith’s only child, got engaged to her partner Steve White two years ago. After the proposal, Rosie shared a series of photos on social media, including a close-up of her engagement ring as she cradled her baby bump.
She wrote: “There are too many lovely things going on and I’m not quite sure what to do with myself. Everyone always told me you’ll know when it’s about to happen but I had absolutely no idea, but I have a lifetime to get you back @stevewhite94.”
The happy couple welcomed their daughter Billie two months later, on August 29, when Lorraine became a grandmother. Around two years on, Rosie and Steve sealed the deal and are now enjoying the newlywed bubble together.
After Rosie’s fun hen do in Marbella, it was time for their big day. On Tuesday, July 28, Lorraine’s daughter took to her Instagram Stories to announce: “Well we got married… Decompressing in Edinburgh after the most special weekend of our lives – will share more soon but taking the time to just soak it all up.”

While Lorraine is yet to comment on her daughter’s nuptials, she is likely thrilled as the pair are very close.
The mother-daughter duo co-host a podcast called What If?, where they interview celebrity guests about life’s defining turning points.
They’ve appeared together on television, including a stint on a celebrity version of ITV’s The Cube in 2021 to raise money and awareness for the MS Therapy Centre.
Lorraine frequently speaks about how proud she is of Rosie and often shares updates and sweet messages about her on social media and her chat show. When accepting a special BAFTA award in May 2024, Lorraine gave a touching shoutout to Rosie.
What’s more, Lorraine previously said becoming a granny has been one of the highlights of her life.
When Rosie announced her baby news on her podcast, Lorraine couldn’t contain her excitement.
The TV host reshared the announcement on her Instagram with an outpouring of joy: “THE most exciting thing to have ever happened in our family!”
She continued, expressing her eagerness to embrace her new role: “Cannot wait to be a granny and so proud of Rosie and her Steve. It’s the best news EVER!”
Taking on the role of grandmother has also pushed Lorraine to carve out more time for her loved ones.
Issuing advice to others, she said: “Don’t go out with people you don’t like – spend more time babysitting!”
She also went on to gush about her granddaugther, saying: “Billie’s so gorgeous. She’s crawling, nearly walking, she’s talking rubbish and she’s wonderful.
“Her lovely little face lights up when she sees me, she’s my wee sunshine. She’s got such a great temperament. Sometimes she calls me Banana, sometimes it’s Nana. I don’t care, I’ll answer to anything.”
