The politician uttered the word “b******t” whilst speaking with presenters Kate and Ed Balls during the breakfast show.
Jenrick was addressing David Lammy’s Commons performance whilst responding to queries regarding the mistaken release of inmates from prison.
He attacked Lammy for remaining silent about the matter until after the story broke, but when Kate proposed that Lammy might have avoided discussing it before official confirmation, he resorted to swearing, reports Wales Online.

He said: “Well, Kate, it’s very early in the morning and your viewers are still having their breakfast, but that, I’m afraid, if you excuse my language, is total b*******. The Met Police immediately debunked that and said that they had no objection whatsoever to David Lammy standing at the dispatch box and saying it like it was.”
Kate then chimed in: “Don’t swear, don’t swear.”
The host subsequently added: “Mr Jenrick, you made some serious points. I’m just going to apologise on your behalf to children watching because we know they watch this programme.”

“Please don’t swear again because you’ll get us all into trouble,” she pleaded.
Viewers were swift to express their reactions, with numerous people commenting on X about the incident. “Robert Jenrick saying ‘total b*******’ on #GMB was well worth waking up early for,” one individual humorously commented on X.
“Robert Jenrick just had an absolute nightmare on @GMB,” another viewer noted, adding: “Resorting to swearing is a sign of desperation, embarrassing.”

“Classy,” another person remarked. “Robert Jenrick with some tasty language at 6:48am,” another viewer pointed out.
“Why is he swearing when he knows you can’t say that on TV?!” a baffled viewer questioned.
Another person posted on the platform: “Why is Jenrick swearing on live telly when he knows it’s live.”
“Ooh, swearing on live TV, isn’t he edgy,” another viewer quipped, while an unimpressed viewer commented: “Wow. Robert Jenerick talks about poor performance and decides to swear on breakfast TV.”
