EXCLUSIVE: Susanna Reid issues huge GMB announcement as fans left emotional

TV broadcaster Susanna Reid has shared an exciting career update that left fans feeling overjoyed. The journalist has made appearances on Strictly Come Dancing and Loose Woman, but she is known as the lead co-anchor of the ITV breakfast programme Good Morning Britain.
She joined Ed Balls on the show and has been fronting the morning programme since 2014. This year, ITV announced a new schedule shake-up that saw Lorraine Kelly’s daytime talk show cut short to 30 minutes and removed live audience from the Loose Women show.
Yesterday, the 55-year-old made an announcement on social media to share an update on her career, and it’s good news to her fans. Posting a photo collage of the breakfast panel she said: “More GMB!”
She added: “In a week of terrific growth in viewer numbers and share, it is fantastic news that ITN has a contract extension to produce GMB for ITV until at least December 2031. This is a massive show of confidence in our team Good Morning Britain, our journalism and our ratings. Thanks to the viewers – who are at the heart of everything we do.”
The post attracted 1,700 likes,with viewers sending congratulations to Susanna. One person said: “Hope that means more of you and Ed Balls together. You two make my mornings.”

Loose Women’s Kaye Adams makes ‘last show’ announcement
The award-winning ITV flagship breakfast show airs from 6am on weekdays. Earlier this month, ITV announced that it’s agreed to sell its TV and streaming services to Sky for £1.6 billion.
In a Sky Group statement, they said: “The UK media market is undergoing a profound and rapid transformation, and as competition for audiences intensifies, scale matters more than ever in order to compete with global streaming giants and YouTube in the UK.
“Viewers will continue to enjoy the shows they know and love, such as Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Love Island, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, This Morning, Loose Women, Lorraine and News at Ten – alongside major live sporting events.”
