Mark Labbett reunited with his former girlfriend and television presenter Hayley Palmer. The Chase star, 61, shared a sweet photo via his Instagram Stories on Monday. Hayley, 45, and the ITV favourite, otherwise known as The Beast, began dating in 2023 but just a week after their one year anniversary the quizmaster reportedly called time on their romance during a three minute phone call. The entertainment journalist was left “completely crushed,” and ended up blocking him on social media. Last November, Hayley revealed she was set to interview Mark at London’s Hippodrome and it seems the pair have since grown close again.
Taking to the picture-sharing site, Mark shared a photo of the pair enjoying a quiet meal together in Nando’s. They could be seen cuddling up as they both smiled for the camera. He captioned the post, “Monday night. Is Nando’s night.”
During their year-long relationship, the former couple spoke highly of one another admitting they both “couldn’t be happier”.

Hayley confirmed the news of their split on her Instagram Stories with a post that read: “It is with regret I announce that myself and Mark have gone our separate ways. We had the best year together and I truly wish him all the best for the future.”
She concluded, “Off I go to listen to Taylor Swift.”
The TV presenter later claimed ended their relationship because he didn’t want to divorce his ex-wife Katie.
Mark and Katie confirmed their separation in 2020 after seven years of marriage — blaming their 27-year age gap and life in the Covid-19 lockdown for their troubles.

The star first met Katie, who is also his second cousin, via Facebook in 2010.
She said: “I had never heard of Mark, or watched The Chase, but my gran mentioned him so I was intrigued.”
They began dating in 2012, going for drinks on their first date after Mark invited her to watch a celebrity Chase special. They got engaged in October the next year and welcomed a son together.
