“I’m Absolutely Furious.” Kelvin Fletcher Opens Up About His Regret Over Leaving.

Kelvin Fletcher suffered an “embarrassing” setback during tonight’s repeat episode of Fletcher’s Family Farm. The ITV series, which follows the Fletcher family on their Cheshire Farm, will see Kelvin and Liz attempt to shear four of their sheep.
A task that shouldn’t have taken that long soon went disastrously wrong for the couple. The former soap star explained that after he and Liz both had a go at shearing, they decided to time the next attempt to see how rapidly they could complete it. Kelvin said in the voiceover, “A professional sheep shearer can remove an entire fleece in under one minute, and that target has long gone,” reports the Mirror.

As Kelvin attempted to shear one of the “bigger” sheep, Liz told him he had already been shearing for 11 minutes.
Kelvin said, “Oh my goodness, that’s embarrassing.”
He went on as disaster struck, “And just as I’m finding the knack, battery’s gone. Both batteries have a 90-minute time limit. Now we’ve not taken 180 minutes.”

Liz could not contain her laughter as she commented on the scene, “We’ve only done two and a half sheep. It looks like someone’s been murdered.”

“I am absolutely fuming. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry,” Kelvin remarked as he put his head in his hands.
“The battery has gone, and now half of his fleece is hanging off…”
As the former soap star reflected on the situation, he said to his wife, “It started out so well. I hate to admit it, but we’ve failed that, haven’t we? Honestly.”
“I feel like crying,” he confessed before his wife attempted to find a silver lining by saying, “But at least we’ve learned we will never bother to do that again.”
While fans enjoy the repeat episode of Fletcher’s Family Farm, they can look forward to a new series very soon.
Recently, ITV announced it had commissioned two further series.
Upon confirmation of the two new series, Kelvin and Liz commented: “We’re delighted to be returning for series five and six. What started as a simple desire to share our family’s journey has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined.”
