NASCAR Driver Who Attended School With Taylor Swift Shares Interesting Thoughts On Travis Kelce

Not every day do you run into someone casually mentioning that they went to high school with Taylor Swift.

But for NASCAR driver Josh Berry, it’s become a talking point that won’t go away. The 34-year-old opened up about the experience on a recent episode of the Rubbin’ Is Racing podcast, sharing how a random bit of personal trivia has turned into an unexpected talking point- and, frankly, a bit of a nuisance.

Berry and Swift both attended Henderson High in Tennessee before the pop star made the switch to homeschooling at Aaron Academy to focus on her budding music career. While they didn’t share the same grade, Berry said the connection has followed him more than he ever anticipated. “You don’t think that’s that big of a deal. But good gosh, man. It never ends,” Berry said during the podcast.

The topic resurfaced with even more intensity when Swift’s relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce made headlines. Suddenly, Berry found himself in the conversation again — even though he insists the connection is barely there.

“I’m like, ‘I don’t care about Travis Kelce. He has nothing to do with me,’” Berry said with a laugh. “It just never ends.”

Despite the buzz, Berry made it clear he didn’t really know Swift personally. “She was in a different grade. I know of somebody who knew her kind of deal. But I didn’t really know her,” he said. Still, that hasn’t stopped fans, media, and even casual acquaintances from bringing it up every time Swift trends.

As for Berry’s current focus, it’s firmly on the track. He has earned six career wins across NASCAR’s Xfinity, Craftsman Truck, and Cup Series, 62 top-10 finishes and four pole positions. His No. 21 car recently logged a DNF at the Goodyear 400 at Darlington after contact with Tyler Reddick, but he’s eyeing a bounce-back performance at Bristol Motor Speedway this weekend.

While the Taylor Swift- Travis Kelce headlines might dominate the internet, Berry keeps his eyes set on something else entirely: the finish line.

VIDEO: Some Dude Just Dropped The Cold Hard Truth On Why All Of These NFL Prospects Are “Dating White Women”

Caleb Williams at NFL Draft

Unless this is your first day in America, then you know race relations in this country dominate just everything, and that includes NBA and NFL drafts

During the most recent NFL Draft in Detroit, social media was buzzing as athletes showed up to the red carpet event with their girlfriends and family. Many of the incoming NFL rookies were African-American and were spotted with white women, which has become the usual theme for years.

The same thing happens with the NBA Draft.

This year, the discourse on the NFL Draft and NBA Draft has gotten even louder as African-American women openly pondered why so many of the players never have a partner that is the same race as them.

One guy on TikTok decided to answer that question by revealing that the vast majority of his division-1 friends in college or headed to the league are dating or married to white women and explained why.

He stated that some of them had told him that their white girlfriend looked up to Taylor Swift while their girlfriend looked up to Megan The Stallion. He then states the guy asks how many white women he has seen doing the Megan Thee Stallion challenge as opposed to Black women.

He then dove into another story of a friend who relayed that his Black girlfriend started to request money from him as soon as she found out about his NIL money. She wanted her hair and nails done. He then added that the Black women would be upset if they went to places like Chipotle, and she demanded steak houses.
