NO ACCEPTANCE! Strictly couple information leaks online, leaving fans deeply disappointed just days before the show airs.
Strictly Come Dancing fans have been left frustrated after several of this year’s celebrity and professional pairings appeared to leak online just days before the official launch show.
The BBC competition is set to return on September 19, when viewers will finally see which professional dancers have been matched with the 15 celebrities taking part in the 2026 series.
But the launch episode was pre-recorded on Wednesday, creating the usual headache for bosses trying to keep the partnerships secret until transmission.
A well-known Strictly mole has reportedly shared some of the results online already.
None of the leaked pairings have been officially verified, and the Mirror said it knows the identities of the couples but will not publish them ahead of the broadcast.
That has not stopped spoilers from spreading among fans.
One viewer admitted they were “gutted” by a particular pairing, while another expressed surprise after apparently discovering that a much-loved professional could be left without a celebrity partner this year.
Another fan, however, said they were “thrilled” for their favourite dancer.

Launch Show Spoilers Spark Frustration
Unlike the regular Saturday night episodes, which usually air live, the launch programme has to be recorded in advance.
That means information about the partnerships can escape before viewers get the chance to watch the celebrities meet their professional dancers on television.
For many longtime fans, the reveal is one of the highlights of the opening episode.
This year’s celebrity line-up includes John Nellis, Lawrence Robb, Dani Dyer, Graeme Hall, Dame Sarah Storey, Tabby Stoecker, Lacey Turner, Chris Appleton, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Delta Goodrem, Bethany Antonia, Melanie Walters, Cach Mercer, Jaime Winstone and Will Best.
Exactly who each celebrity has been partnered with remains officially under wraps.
The apparent leaks come after preparations for the new series had already hit another problem.
Katya and Neil Missed Rehearsals
Katya Jones and her former husband Neil Jones were reportedly both forced to miss rehearsals after suffering injuries.
Katya, 37, and Neil, 44, were unable to take part in some of the early preparations and consequently missed several pre-recorded group routines.
The timing was particularly unfortunate with the start of the series rapidly approaching.
Despite the setback, excitement surrounding the new season increased after the BBC released its first trailer featuring the professional dancers and the programme’s new presenting team.
The energetic promo showed the professionals dancing through the backstage areas at Elstree as glitter filled the air and chandeliers moved into view.
The famous Glitterball Trophy also featured prominently.
In one of the more dramatic moments, judge Craig Revel Horwood was shown attempting to smash it with a sledgehammer while fellow judges Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke displayed their dance moves.

New Hosts Lead Huge Strictly Revamp
The trailer ended by introducing Johannes Radebe, Emma Willis and Josh Widdicombe as the show’s new hosts.
The trio were shown holding hands as they walked down the brightly lit Strictly staircase.
They are replacing Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman after the longtime presenters stepped away from the BBC series last year.
Johannes’ new position represents an especially significant change, with the former professional dancer moving from competing in the ballroom to presenting the programme.
But the hosts are not the only part of Strictly undergoing a shake-up.
Bosses have also made substantial changes to the professional dancer line-up.
Long-serving stars Karen Hauer, Gorka Márquez, Nadiya Bychkova, Luba Mushtuk and Michelle Tsiakkas were dropped as part of the revamp, making way for new talent.
Former Strictly contestant Ellie Taylor is also stepping into a new role, replacing Janette Manrara and Fleur East.

With new presenters, changes among the professionals and 15 fresh celebrities preparing to compete, the 2026 series is already shaping up to look very different.
For now, though, the biggest mystery remains the partnerships.
Some fans may already have stumbled across the alleged answers online, but with none of the leaked pairings officially confirmed, viewers wanting the full reveal will have to wait until the launch show airs on September 19.
