Paddy McNally died aged 88 following a prolonged illness in July and reports soon emerged that the F1 tycoon could leave some of his £600 million fortune to his ex-girlfriend and long-term friend, Sarah Ferguson. It was claimed Fergie was allowed to stay in McNally’s £15million Swiss chalet after her eviction from Royal Lodge earlier this year. And further reports came to light that he might recognise her in his will.

The former Duchess of York was dealt a humiliating blow after The Royals Uncensored host claimed Sarah had been left “penniless”. Presenter Katie Nicholl was joined by her co-hosts Jo Elvin and Grant Harrold as the panel discussed Fergie’s inheritance from the late Paddy McNally on Thursday.

Katie said: “According to reports by the Mail On Sunday by the brilliant Caroline Graham she has been left a small fortune by her ex-boyfriend Paddy McNally. Now, he was 88 and he died earlier this week.

“He went out with Sarah Ferguson in the eighties. She went for men with money and seems to have reaped the benefits. Dividends for her. I hate to be cynical.”

Katie continued: “She finds herself penniless with nothing. And yet she is in a Swiss chalet getting well looked after. Well, that happened to be Paddy McNally, we believe.

And now she is going to benefit from his death because she is being left money in the will.”

Former Fleet Street editor, Eve Pollard, interjected saying Fergie would reportedly receive the inheritance in small increments.

“I’m told money is not coming out in a great splurge,” she explained.

Eve continued: “He obviously cared for and loved her. And he wants her to be safe. He wants her to have money until she dies. It will be spread out and it will be fine.

“She’ll live in a nice house in the lovely mountains.”

Jo claimed Fergie has run out of ways to make money following the fallout from the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.

Presenter Mark Dolan dubbed Sarah a “great survivor”.
