Prince Harry Appears ‘Struggling’ At WellChild Awards As Fresh Diana Claims Cast Shadow Over Night
Prince Harry appeared noticeably more tense when posing for photographs at the WellChild Awards, according to a body language expert who analysed his arrival at the London ceremony.
The Duke of Sussex attended the event on Monday as part of a series of public engagements following his reported return to Britain with Meghan Markle and their children.
Celebrity psychic and body language specialist Inbaal Honigman, speaking through Casino.org, claimed Harry initially appeared comfortable and confident while greeting guests on the purple carpet.
According to her interpretation, the change came once photographers began focusing their attention on him.
“As Harry walks onto the purple carpet, he displays a mix of emotions,” Honigman said.
She suggested his interactions with delegates appeared relaxed, pointing to his handshakes, eye contact and movements as signs that he felt at ease.
“Shaking hands and kissing delegates, Harry is at ease,” she said.
“His arm movements are long and direct; he makes fearless eye contact, and he’s not shuffling or shifting from side to side.”
Expert Claims Harry Looked More Tense for Photographs
Honigman said Harry appeared particularly comfortable while speaking directly to other people.
“All those signs indicate a good level of comfort,” she claimed.
“Introducing himself and chatting to others, he feels confident, feeling like he belongs, and that he can be of value.”
However, she believed his demeanour changed when he stopped interacting with guests and posed for photographers.
“When he has to pose for photos, however, Harry tries to display the body language of calm and confidence,” she said.
Honigman pointed to the way Harry positioned himself, describing him as casually stretching one leg forward and smiling for the cameras.
At first glance, she said, he appeared completely composed.
“Casually stretching one leg forward, smiling benignly with his cheeks raised, he is the image of serenity,” she said.
But Honigman claimed smaller movements suggested something different.
‘Tiny Moves’ Allegedly Reveal Nerves
The body language expert drew attention to what she called Harry’s “tiny moves and micro expressions”.
She claimed these movements “betray his nerves”.
Among the gestures she highlighted were Harry adjusting his tie and touching his lapels.
Honigman also interpreted a movement in his throat while smiling as a possible sign of stress.
“Even his smile hides a quick throat move which shows that he’s swallowing hard, struggling to overcome his stress,” she claimed.
Her comments are an interpretation of Harry’s body language and do not establish what he was actually feeling during the event.

Despite Honigman’s interpretation of his behaviour in front of photographers, the WellChild Awards are an event with which Harry has a long association.

He was also due to present the Inspirational Child award for children aged four to six and deliver a speech.
Honigman suggested that Harry appeared far more comfortable during personal conversations than during formal photo opportunities.
“Posing for photos clearly unnerves him, but when he’s in conversation, Harry is much happier,” she concluded.

The WellChild Awards came during a period of increased public activity for the Duke.
According to the report, Harry recently relocated back to Britain with Meghan and their two children after six years living in the United States.
