Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new Netflix deal falls far short of the blockbuster terms they enjoyed last time, a Royal insider has claimed. The Sussexes announced the agreement earlier this week, unveiling fresh projects for the streaming giant but without revealing any financial details.

While their debut contract was widely reported to be worth around $100 million, the latest offer is said to be only a fraction of that sum. Speaking to Page Six on Monday, the source summed it up with a blunt three-word verdict: “It’s not much.” They claimed Netflix had taken “no risk” with the smaller arrangement, while still benefiting from the PR value of keeping the couple in their orbit, adding that it “saves them both reputationally”. Nevertheless, if the account is accurate, it points to a quieter chapter for Harry and Meghan—still present on the platform, but without the fanfare or fortune of their first deal.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s ‘calculated move’ with Netflix revealed

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a “calculated move” regarding their new deal with Netflix, a PR expert has claimed.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Archewell Productions announced on Monday that they are “extending their partnership” with Netflix with a new “multi-year first look” deal.

Netflix’s new deal will see the streaming giant have the first look at the Sussex couple’s ideas before deciding if they want to work on them.

Several commentators have analysed the new deal, details of which have been few, with many of them dubbing it a “downgrade” from their previous one.

But now a PR expert said the deal may not be a retreat but rather a “strategic reset” for the Montecito couple.

US star delivers brutal verdict on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s business flops

US star Bethenny Frankel had delivered her own verdict on why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s business endeavours in the US have flopped.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex branched out into various business ventures since departing the Royal Family and moving to the US in 2020.

Harry and Meghan signed deals with Netflix and Spotify, the latter of which dropped them, while the former announced a new, watered-down deal just this week, while the Duke released a bombshell memoir and the Duchess released her own brand and went into podcasting.

But Ms Frankel said most of their projects have been flopping for one reason.

Prince Harry and Meghan’s cannabis hell as residents plot overhaul

Residents near Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Montecito home, who live in Santa Barbara, California, are “alarmed” at the prospect of a 24/7 cannabis cultivation farm in operation at Valley Crest Farms in Carpinteria.

It comes as Santa Barbara County authorities are in the process of cracking down on excessive cannabis odours throughout the region after more than 2,500 complaints since 2020, according to local outlet the Montecito Journal.

Santa Barbara news outlet, Siteline, wrote of their “surprise” to see “a proposed change of operational hours to 24 hours/day, seven days/week for cannabis cultivation and processing” at Valley Crest Farms.

Trump’s fate over Epstein scandal is already decided, insists Prince Andrew biographer

The controversy surrounding a new explosive book about Prince Andrew could potentially reach the White House, it has been claimed.

According to Lownie, Andrew’s association with Epstein proved to be the royal’s undoing.

The Duke has always denied any allegations against him.

Meghan Markle’s new season of Netflix show tipped to fail for key reason

The second season of Meghan Markle’s cookery show on Netflix will “flop” just like the first season because it has the “exact same formula,” a royal commentator has claimed.

Netflix released the trailer for the second season of With Love, Meghan this week, which is set to be released on August 26. Filming took place alongside the first season last year.

But a royal commentator said the new season will receive the same scathing reviews as the previous one.
