Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s reunion with King Charles was about meeting his grandchildren and not a surrender, reports claim. The King welcomed Meghan and Harry’s children to his Highgrove residence after days of speculation over whether the family meeting would take place. The meeting, which included Charles, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, is likely to be interpreted as a sign of thawing in the relationship between the King and Harry.
A royal source is reported to have told journalist, Rob Shuter, as quoted by Sky News Australia: “This wasn’t a surrender – it was a grandfather wanting to see his grandchildren. People are confusing compassion with capitulation.” The source added that if Buckingham Palace had wanted the world to see the meeting as a reconciliation, then there would have been a photo of the occasion. They added: “The fact that there wasn’t tells you everything you need to know. The institution didn’t blink. Charles acted as a father and a grandfather, not as the head of the monarchy negotiating terms.” Royal fans were urged not to “believe the hype” surrounding the royal reunion.

‘Real’ reason Prince George wore a suit and tie at Wimbledon despite 29C heat
Prince George looked rather dapper as he attended Wimbledon today with his mother, father and younger sister.
The young Prince, who is the eldest of William and Kate’s children, sat with his family in the Royal Box to watch Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev face off in the gentlemen’s singles finals on Sunday, July 12.
The 12-year-old future king looked smart in a dark navy suit with a crisp, bright shirt and a striped tie. The attire was what we expect from a royal, even one who is still a child.
However, some were surprised to see the smart, layered attire donned in such hot London weather.

Prince Harry just had us reaching for the sick bucket – and Meghan must be raging
COMMENT: “There are few things more excruciating than a hefty dose of secondhand embarrassment.
“But having your painfully corny, 2011-era bachelor Facebook messages dragged into the public spotlight and picked apart line by line? That really is a “sick bucket” moment.”
