Andrew gave up his royal title and honours recently
Princess Anne is reportedly “fed up” of brother Prince Andrew as ongoing scandal surrounds him.
Andrew, 65, has faced scandal for many years over his association with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Andrew was also accused of sexual assault. Virginia Giuffre alleged she was made to have sex with the prince when she was 17 in the early 2000s, after being trafficked by Epstein. Andrew has always vehemently denied the accusations against him.
Last Friday (October 17), Andrew announced he would stop using his Duke of York title. It came as allegations about the prince were emerging from Ms Giuffre’s posthumous memoir.

Princess Anne ‘fed up’ with Prince Andrew amid scandal
Andrew’s decision over his title came after he had a “discussion with the king, and my immediate and wider family”.
According to reports, King Charles and Prince William were the driving force behind the decision.
Edward has no choice but to fully support Charles in his efforts to rid himself of the problematic Duke of York.
Now, one royal author has claimed that Andrew’s siblings, Princess Anne and Prince Edward, are also in support of Charles and William.
Speaking to US Weekly, Christopher Andersen, author of the royal book Brothers and Wives, said: “Anne has long sided with the king. She is as fed up with Andrew as Charles and William are.
“Edward has no choice but to fully support Charles in his efforts to rid himself of the problematic Duke of York.”
Buckingham Palace has been contacted for comment.

Andrew to stop using his Duke of York title
Amid all the allegations and scandal surrounding him, Prince Andrew announced last week that he would stop using his dukedom.
He received his Duke of York title on his wedding day to Sarah Ferguson in 1986.
Andrew remains a prince as he was born with this title as the second son of Queen Elizabeth II. However, he will no longer use his Duke of York title. Andrew has also given up membership of the Order of the Garter. He is no longer a Knight of the Garter, which he was honoured with in 2006.
In the statement released by Buckingham Palace, Prince Andrew said: “In discussion with the king, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the royal family.
“I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life.”

He added: “With His Majesty’s agreement, we feel I must now go a step further. I will therefore no longer use my title or the honours which have been conferred upon me. As I have said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me.”
According to reports, King Charles was said to be “glad” with the outcome.
Prince Andrew scandal
Andrew stepped back from royal duties in 2019 following his BBC Newsnight interview. In the interview, he addressed his friendship with Epstein and denied the sexual assault allegations against him.
In 2021, Ms Giuffre sued the prince in a US civil case, accusing him of sexual assault. In February 2022, they reached an out-of-court settlement for an undisclosed sum.
However, Andrew made it clear, by doing so, he did not accept any liability.
In the years since, Andrew has rarely appeared at royal events and reportedly lives a quiet life at Royal Lodge in Windsor.
