The controversial contestant felt like he was ‘hit by a wall of bricks’ when learning about the outrage he caused all season
Big Brother fans ‘seeing red’ as producers ‘cut out’ Rylie Jeffries’ ‘creepy’ live feed scenes to give him a ‘good edit’
BIG Brother villain Rylie Jeffries has been in ‘shock’ by the extreme fan backlash he’s received as CBS cancels his post-eviction interviews, The U.S. Sun has learned.
Producers had to set the professional bull rider down in a “situation room” like setting following his exit to debrief him on the controversies he’s caused during his 42 days inside the Big Brother house.

In addition to sparking concern with his behavior toward love interest, Katherine Woodman, this season, Rylie, 27, has also been plagued with unflattering accusations from the outside world.
All of this led to a chaotic eviction night on Thursday’s episode as Rylie was apparently unaware that his behavior this season would be at the center of controversy.
According to a production insider, Rylie “seemed shocked over how he was perceived in the house.”
“It was like being hit by a wall of bricks as soon as he stepped off set. He wasn’t even upset at first because he was in a genuine state of disbelief.
“He thought it would be a warm, celebratory welcome when he got out but it was far from it.”
The source added that one of the first things Rylie did following his post-exit interview with host Julie Chen-Moonves was have a sit-down with production that was essentially “a situation-room-like setting” at the CBS studios.
“Producers were involved, and Rylie had to be debriefed on the audience’s reaction to things he said and other accusations that had been made against him and that came out during his time in the house.
“He doesn’t seem to remember a lot of what he said or he thinks it wasn’t picked up by cameras so it came as a total shock to him.”

They added: “He did not take it well, and he took it hard. His reaction mixed with the fact that he’s not properly media trained, made producers make the decision of canceling press for right now while they get their ducks in a row.
“They felt if they had gone through with the press, they would just be setting their own contestant up for failure.
“And that is not their intention with any of their contestants. So they had to buy more time to get Rylie up to speed and get him ready and give him the tools to handle the criticisms.”
During Rylie’s 42 days being sequestered from the outside world, he was not able to see any of the online accusations being made against him.

Additionally, it seemed as though the Big Brother season 27 Houseguests didn’t have an accurate pulse on how the viewers are reacting to this season – as many of the contestants saw Rylie as the biggest threat to win it all.
However, that was far from the case, as most of the fanbase was “creeped out” by Rylie’s intensity towards Katherine and celebrated his elimination.
BIG BETRAYAL
On Thursday night, Rylie was up for eviction alongside Morgan Pope.
Despite being confident he had the numbers, Rylie was betrayed by his own allies and was evicted from the house in a 5-4 vote.
Rylie sobbed as he said his goodbyes to Katherine, 23, and the other contestants, and at one point, was barely able to speak.
In fact, he took so long to say his tearful goodbyes to the houseguests, Julie had to order him to exit the set through the studio’s speaker system.
Viewers were thrilled by the outcome as many have been wanting the controversial cowboy gone for weeks, with one exclaiming: “THIS IS THE BEST VOTE OF THE SEASON LFGGGG!”
“I didn’t think the house had it in them but thank god they did something right. Good riddance Rylie, we won’t miss you,” someone wrote alongside a party emoji.
“Hard to feel bad for the absolute worst person of the season getting what they deserve,” another fired off.

Fans have been outraged about feeling “uncomfortable” with the way Rylie has been talking to his girlfriend in the house, Katherine Woodman, since their showmance began to heat up last month.
As seen during an “intense” clip from Sunday night’s livestream, Rylie and Katherine were seen discussing their relationship.
They spoke about how things would progress on the outside, with Rylie even vowing that he would marry Katherine.
Katherine then brought up the fact that they could split, to which Rylie pushed that them breaking up is not an option, and the two will be “married.”
His persistence resulted in a variety of uncomfortable facial expressions from Katherine – which fans took notice of and have told producers it’s time to step in.
“Rylie is an a**hole and I’m tired. Katherine doesn’t owe him s**t. Production please do something,” one person begged.
Another said: “Rylie is a controlling person and gets upset at the sight of Kat talking game with anyone but him. He gaslights her and treats her like s**t whenever he’s in a bad mood. I need him gone.”
Big Brother airs on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 8 pm EST on CBS – with live feeds airing 24/7 on Paramount+ and PlutoTV.
