Strictly: Tess Daly points out Nadiya’s wardrobe malfunction

Host on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, Tess Daly, has marked a major family milestone this week as her eldest daughter Phoebe reached her 21st birthday.

The BBC presenter, who recently revealed she’d been keeping a secret from bosses, first shot to fame aged just 18 when she launched her modelling career.

Her transition to television came swiftly when she landed her breakthrough role presenting The Big Breakfast’s Find Me A Model competition on Channel 4 back in 1999.

Having remained firmly in the spotlight ever since, the nation has witnessed Tess navigate significant life moments, from her first meeting with Vernon Kay in 2001, their wedding two years later, and welcoming their two daughters.

This week saw her eldest child Phoebe reach a major landmark as she celebrated turning 21 years old, reports the Mirror.

Marking the momentous occasion, Tess headed to social media where she posted a series of photographs, including nostalgic throwback pictures of a younger Phoebe.

The proud mother captioned the snaps: “21. What a milestone. Could not be more proud of our brilliant girl Phoebe on her big birthday here’s to celebrating how special you are.”

One particularly amusing image revealed the tongue-in-cheek birthday card Tess and Vernon had selected for their daughter, poking fun at her untidy tendencies.

Alongside a photograph of the 21-year-old, the message on the front read: “Love you more than all the stars in the sky and all the clothes on your floor.”

Messages of congratulations quickly flooded in beneath the post, with numerous followers sharing their best wishes. One fan gushed: “Happy birthday to your gorgeous daughter! Takes after her momma.”

Another penned: “Happy 21st Birthday gorgeous girl. Congratulations @tessdaly you’ve raised an absolute beauty.”

A third chimed in: “Love you more than all the stars in the sky and clothes on your floor” I’m pinching that!! She’s absolutely stunning.”
