Former Love Island star Amber Davies has confessed she wishes she could “press pause” as the Strictly Come Dancing final approaches.
The reality TV star has reached the concluding stage of the BBC ballroom competition, where she will compete against YouTuber George Clarke and football icon Karen Carney for the prestigious Glitterball trophy.
Taking to Instagram before Saturday evening’s final (December 20), she revealed she was “crying” whilst heading to her final rehearsal with professional dance partner Nikita Kuzmin.
The performer shared footage displaying her and Nikita perfecting their choreography, writing: “Oh what a ride. Little did we know @nikita__kuzmin en route to our final ever rehearsal (obvs crying) want to press pause!!!!!!”
The black and white footage captured Amber and Nikita working on their routine, concluding with them hugging, reports Wales Online.

“We had no idea in this moment we were going to be Strictly finalists,” Amber penned.
“A bestie for life,” she remarked about her dancing companion.
Amber has been candid about encountering negativity from online critics throughout her journey on the programme, with some people taking issue with her previous dance training and West End performances.
Nevertheless, she received an outpouring of encouragement following her most recent post, with numerous supporters leaving messages in the comments section declaring she had been “amazing” on the show.

Another fan praised Amber and Nikita as a “brilliant pairing” on the dancefloor.
