Tan France Finally Tells Meghan Markle What He Really Thinks About Her Flower Sprinkles

He was censored when he spoke to the duchess…

Queer Eye star Tan France’s frank assessment of Meghan Markle’s merchandise was bleeped out in the new episodes for With Love, Meghan season 2.

New episodes of the Duchess of Sussex’s lifestyle series have dropped on Netflix today (Tuesday, August 26). The official season two trailer, which was released earlier this month, had given fans a preview of what was coming – and which celebrity guests will be popping up in the kitchen alongside Meghan.

They included fashion personality Tan, 42, originally from Doncaster in south Yorkshire. However, his profane but light-hearted dismissal of Meghan Markle‘s efforts as she made use of an item from her As Ever range that was shared on her Instagram recently left some viewers pondering whether Netflix was ‘trolling’ her.

The 10 second preview depicts Meghan spreading flower sprinkles over a brunch dish.

When Tan enquires what it is she’s added to her plate, he responds to her reply: “Wow. That is the gayest [blank] I’ve seen in a long time.”

Both Meghan and Tan collapse into laughter at the remark. And in the Instagram caption for the post bearing the vid, Meghan also promises lots of chuckles for anyone watching at home, too.

“Season 2 will have you like…,” the caption reads, making use of a crying laughing emoji.

How fans have reacted

Over on X, social media users expressed varying levels of enthusiasm for the imminent release.

“Flower sprinkles and that infectious laugh? Meghan, you’re making my day already,” one excited fan gushed.

“Flowers + Meghan = the perfect recipe for pure joy. Can’t wait to see Meghan!” wrote another.

And a third added: “Am super excited about this new season, can’t wait.”

Others, however, rolled their eyes. “Nah pass! So many canceled series that performed better,” one user reacted.

A second huffed: “Really looking forward to not watching it!”

A third claimed: “No one is going to watch anything she does!”

Even Netflix is trolling her now!

And a fourth detractor suggested Netflix was taking the mick with the clip. “Even Netflix is trolling her now!”

However, someone else responded to them: “How? Meghan chose and shared this clip as a teaser on her page? It’s called having a sense of humour. You should try it.”

What rating is With Love, Meghan?

While the swearing might raise eyebrows with some royal observers and commentators, any similar bad language that isn’t uncensored in the show itself is unlikely to affect viewer guidance.

That’s because, according to reports, content classified as PG (‘Parental Guidance’) can contain mild expletives such as the one seemingly uttered by Tan.

The British Board of Film Classification have ruled that said only “mild bad language” is permitted at the PG level.
