Meghan Markle and Prince Harry appear to be taking inspiration from their estranged family in the UK when it comes to bringing up their children.
A garden swing that closely resembles those in the royal gardens of William and Kate and Andrew and Fergie’s Royal Lodge, a tiered rose garden similar to Kensington Palace and a penchant for Jellycat stuffed toys are just some of the things Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, have in common with their British cousins.

Meghan has offered an increased insight into the family’s life at their sprawling estate in the LA celebrity enclave of Montecito since debuting her lifestyle brand As Ever and new Netflix series earlier this year.
She has shared a clip of Lilibet wearing a £35 rainbow bag from the children’s brand Jellycat, also loved by the Prince and Princess of Wales’s children, and the £12 million home the couple moved to in 2020 bears similiarities to royal residences, through garden landscaping and even a princess bed.
It comes as Meghan shared a clip on social media to promote As Ever showing behind the scenes of her making her sell-out products.

King Charles backs refugee scheme as insiders speak of ‘life-changing’ help
Ahead of his appearance at St James’s Palace to mark the 25th anniversary of the Royal Drawing School on Tuesday, the King was joined by another incredible group of people to celebrate their success. The Princess of Wales has been gradually returning to public duties following her cancer diagnosis and chemotherapy treatment and it is understood that she is trying to find the right balance this year. In a surprise move last week, she missed Royal Ascot for the second successive year.
As Kate navigates her return to full-time duties after being diagnosed with cancer last year, an insider has spoken out about her current approach to public appearances. Speaking to the Daily Mail, they said: “She’s quite strict now at working out what she needs to be at and what she doesn’t.
Sir Keir Starmer has gone against the wishes of the reigning monarch in bringing President Trump’s state visit forward, despite King Charles’s concerns over threats to Canada. The UK and America are expected to confirm that Donald Trump’s state visit will take place in September.
Going against the original proposal for an earlier informal visit outlined by the King, Starmer has wanted a full “bells and whistles” visit for the American president who has a fascination with the Royal Family. The Times reports the “manu regia”, the formal document required to initiate a state visit, was delivered to the White House last week.
Queen Elizabeth held numerous birthday celebrations throughout her long life, but one particular event caught the world’s attention.
The late Queen celebrated a total of 165 birthdays in her life despite dying at the age of 96.
This is due to the royal tradition of monarchs having two birthdays in a year, their actual birthday and their official birthday, a celebration known as Trooping the Colour, which takes place in June.
Elizabeth’s actual birthday was on April 21, but for her official 80th birthday celebrations in 2006, she marked the day with a big bash in London.
Meghan Markle’s pal Christopher Bouzy has lashed out at all of the “online trolls and conspiracy theorists” and urged them to stop their “vicious campaign” against the Duchess, following the backlash of her twerking video. The Duchess of Sussex made headlines earlier this month when she uploaded a highly unusual video of herself and Prince Harry in hospital dancing to Starrkeisha’s The Baby Momma Dance in order to induce labour, shortly before Princess Lilibet’s arrival.
