Stacey likes to share heartfelt messages on social media to celebrate her children’s birthdays. Last year, when Rose turned three, Stacey wrote: “You truly are the best birthday gift I could have ever dreamed of. You light up our lives more than you’ll ever know.”
Sharing the reason behind Rose’s name, the former X Factor star added: “We loved Autumn. But the initials didn’t work, and then every evening after she was born, the sun went down right outside her window, so I’d watch it set from in there, and it always shone on her mobile and lit up the rose. That’s when we knew she was our Rose.”
Stacey has a large social media following of over six million people. Many fans of the TV star left messages after the heartwarming family update yesterday. One follower said: “What a special mummy and Rose birthday.”
A second follower added: “What an amazing day, perfect mummy and daughter memories” and others commented “How magical! What an amazing memory to have made together” and “What a cute little memory with little Rose! Her face says everything.”
The 36-year-old has appeared on our screens regularly through the years after she shot to fame on The X Factor in 2009. The TV star is married to former EastEnders actor Joe Swash, 43. It has been a busy couple of weeks for Stacey as she attended the National Television Awards, and was nominated for two awards.
The release of her fly-on-the-wall documentary series with Joe Swash also came last month on BBC, on the back of the success of the first series.
