Strictly Come Dancing’s Motsi Mabuse shocked viewers with her blunt four-word remark of one contestant during last night’s show.

The 44-year-old judge, who joined the programme in 2019, was back on the panel alongside Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke.

His efforts paid off as he secured a personal best score of 30 points. Despite his achievement, the judges weren’t entirely convinced, with Craig suggesting he could have pushed himself further, reports Wales Online.
But it was Motsi who left everyone stunned when she declared that whilst the panel seeks “perfect” dancers, he was “never going to get there”.
She began her critique by saying: “I actually love the way you move and I can see you’re giving so much effort in the techie and I can see the hard work.”

The Strictly judge went on: “In the beginning I can see how hard you’re working on it. In the middle it got better, it got lighter and yes you have all these technical errors to improve and I can see working on them.
“For me I just think if you can just add a little bit more of a performance on it to sell it a little bit better.”

Everyone was left stunned as she added: “Obviously we want perfect dancing but we’ll never get there. Sorry guys. I just want you to enjoy more and give us that enjoyment because you are a good dancer.”
Meanwhile on the programme, presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman became emotional as they kicked off the first episode since revealing they were departing at the series’ conclusion.

Tess and Claudia revealed their intentions to leave their Strictly Come Dancing presenting roles on Thursday.
The duo made television history as the first all-female presenting partnership in primetime when they joined forces to front the programme in 2014.
Both had been involved with Strictly since 2004, with Tess presenting the main programme alongside Bruce Forsyth and Claudia fronting the spin-off It Takes Two.
