Cameras caught Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry totally disrespecting Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni at the Dubs’ road game against the 76ers on Mar. 1.
Curry and the Warriors were upset 126-119 by the Joel Embiid-less Philadelphia 76ers that night. Quentin Grimes led the way for the home club with 44 points, with Kelly Oubre Jr. (20 points), Andre Drummond (10 points and 14 rebounds) and Paul George (17 points, eight rebounds) playing key roles in the 76ers’ win.
Though the game happened five weeks ago, new footage emerged of Stephen Curry curiously snubbing coach Sirianni during the game. The Super Bowl-winning HC himself appeared to be caught off guard by Curry’s gesture, too:
The 37-year-old Curry grew up in Charlotte and is a well-known fan of the NFL’s Carolina Panthers. With no real rivalry between Carolina and the Eagles, it’s hard to think that Curry dislikes Sirianni on a personal level.
Four years ago, Stephen Curry did say that Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is his favorite NFL player. Perhaps Curry is bitter about Sirianni’s Eagles crushing Kansas City 40-22 in Super Bowl 59?
Regardless, Sirianni and Philadelphia sports fans got the last laugh on Mar. 1 with the 76ers’ victory over the powerhouse Warriors.

Heading into Thursday’s slate of games, the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers (48-32) were tied for the fourth-best record in the Western Conference. The Memphis Grizzlies (47-32) and Warriors (47-33) still have outside shots at the No. 4 seed and home court advantage.
But for Golden State, getting a top-six seed would ensure they have to avoid the play-in tournament. And believe us, a possible 7 vs. 8 play-in game with the Minnesota Timberwolves would be awfully scary for the Warriors.
