1. Steph keeps secrets

After an appointment with her surgeon, Steph seems happier. Caleb and Ruby are oblivious as to why, but are pleased to see it. But then she tells them she’s going on holiday and they are surprised – and suspicious.

2. Caleb tracks Steph down

After realising the flight number she gave him doesn’t exist, Caleb goes on to Steph’s computer and finds the emails from the plastic surgery clinic. They race to stop her just as the surgeon is going through the final preparations. Steph is adamant she’s going through with it, but can they talk her out of it?

3. Steph goes missing after meltdown

Back at home, Steph goes into meltdown. She smashes pots and when Ross arrives to help, she breaks down, explaining her feelings. But then as he tries to console her, she snaps and lashes out, insulting him. He takes it all, just wanting to be there for her.

Guilty Steph hates herself even more when she realises what she has said. Grabbing a bottle of vodka she rushes off. Will anyone find her before she does something stupid?

4. John messes up

When Tracy gives Cain a card she and Frankie made for Nate’s birthday he realises he has to find his son and leaves him a voicemail. John listens to the message, but Cain then calls again and panicked John accidentally answers it. He quickly ends the call and drops the phone, struggling with the lies he has told.

5. Cain decides to track Nate down

Gutted Cain is upset Nate hung up on him, but Moira encourages him not to give up on his son. After spending time with Frankie, Cain wants answers over why Nate has abandoned his daughter. He tells Tracy he’s going to Shetland to have it out with Nate.

6. Will John act?

As John keeps putting out the fires relating to the phone calls, he goes to check on Tracy. But when she reveals where Cain is going, John struggles to hide his anxiety. Will he be forced to act to stop Cain?

7. Determined Sarah has a plan

Having ditched both Kammy and Jacob after their bike race stupidity, Sarah confides in Vanessa what she truly wants. She tells V she doesn’t want a boyfriend, she wants a baby and is planning IVF.

8. Will Sarah’s dreams be crushed in Emmrdale spoilers?

Sarah goes to see Manpreet to convince her she’s able to have IVF, but Manpreet is concerned that Sarah isn’t being realistic about her Fanconi Anaemia. Sarah is determined and tells Vanessa she’s contacted several clinics about the treatment. Charity then approaches and Vanessa tres to get Sarah to come clean, but will she tells her gran the truth?

Evan is taken into hospital and Billy blames himself. Dawn reassures him it’s not his fault and Billy is comforted. But will it give him false hope about their future?
