In next week’s Emmerdale episodes, Marlon tells April the truth about Dylan and then finds she’s taken an overdose.

1. Marlon tells April the truth

Struggling to get through to April and repair their relationship, Marlon decides to admit that it was him who framed Dylan for stealing the ketamine.

April is horrified by her dad’s confession, but Marlon tries to prove that Dylan still cares about her by showing the letter her friend sent. But when April runs away, Marlon’s scared he’s made things so much worse.

2. Marlon finds April overdosed

Reeling from the lengths her dad has gone to, April breaks into the vet’s surgery and steals a vial of ketamine.

When Marlon gets home, he’s terrified to find his daughter unconscious with an empty vial beside her.

3. Marlon plants a tracking device

ITV

After the events earlier in the week, Marlon plants a tracking device in April’s coat. But when Rhona discovers it, she lectures Marlon, urging him to give his daughter the freedom she needs.

Will Marlon be able to put his fears aside and let April go?

4. Nicola plots to take Brenda’s cruise

ITV

After discovering Brenda has won tickets for a cruise from a magazine, Nicola tries to get her hands on the tickets for herself and Jimmy.

When Brenda admits she’s going on the cruise alone, Nicola changes tactics and puts herself forward as Brenda’s plus one. Jimmy is annoyed by Nicola’s new plan – will he try and sabotage it?

5. Eric gets his hopes up

Jimmy hints to Eric that he might still be able to win back Brenda’s affections, but that leads to a very awkward situation the next day when Brenda tries to talk to him and he misunderstands her intentions.

Eric has his hopes up, but will he be left disappointed?

6. Liam calls the police

When Ella harasses Chas and Liam with messages and calls, the couple begin to get concerned. Things get better after John suggests Liam should turn off his phone, but not for long.

Belle receives an email cancelling Liam and Chas’s wedding so the unhappy groom-to-be feels there’s no other choice and makes a desperate call to the police.

When one of the pub’s windows is smashed, they’re certain Ella is behind it – and she is watching them.

7. Ella traps Mandy

ITV

The next day Ella drops in on Mandy, without warning, and demands to speak to Liam. But when Mandy refuses, Ella traps her and forces Liam to come over.

Despite her claims that she’s being framed, Liam doesn’t trust Ella. He tries to force her to confess by pretending he wants to get back together with her, but Ella soon realises he’s tricking her and grabs a knife…

8. Ella thinks she’s killed Liam

When Chas and Mandy try to intervene, Ella escapes and Liam follows. The former lovers go head-to-head in the woods and Ella pushes Liam.

Disaster strikes when Liam hits his head in the fall and is left unconscious. Haunted by her past and convinced she’s killed him, Ella sobs over Liam’s body.

9. Kim tries to reunite Dawn and Billy

Dawn is disgusted with herself over her affair with Joe, and the situation is made worse when Billy expresses a genuine desire to fix their marriage.

Eager for the couple to reunite, Kim deliberately orchestrates a situation so Billy and Dawn can spend more time alone together.

10. Mary makes amends

ITV

Unhappy with the tense situation between her and Vanessa, Mary puts her all into trying to make amends.

But despite her best efforts to win round Vanessa, Mary can’t earn her forgiveness.

11. Sarah makes a huge mistake

Sarah offers to take Kammy on a joy ride in a sports car she’s servicing at the garage. Even though Kammy refuses, the customer accuses him of scratching his car.

Cain won’t back Kammy’s version of events and when the customer cancels their contract with the garage, Cain sacks both Sarah and Kammy.

12. Vinny has an idea

Struggling with Thomas’s childcare, Gabby realises that she needs other options instead of Kim.

Coming to her rescue, Vinny comes up with the perfect solution. What’s his plan?

13. Belle gets an offer

ITV

Belle is shocked when she receives the offer of a lifetime next week, when Jacob agrees to sell his late mum’s business to her.
