Jasmine Harman has shared an update about her career, away from A Place in the Sun. The property programme presenter has shared that she is feeling “emotional” as she announced a brand new project, which is soon to hit screens.
The 49-year-old TV star has secured her very own show, which is also on Channel 4 – Jasmine’s Renovation in the Sun. The new programme will follow her and her family relocating to Spain to renovate a rundown villa. The 15-part series, a spin-off from A Place in the Sun, will document the challenges and triumphs of their move and renovation project. In an Instagram post, the presenter shared that it will show “warts and all” as it showcases the good, the bad and the ugly. Sharing an update with her 227,000 followers, Jasmine wrote: “If you’ve been wondering where I’ve been for the last couple of weeks… That’s a WRAP on Jasmine’s Renovation in the Sun. And I’m back!”
She explained that she was feeling a flurry of emotions, adding: “I’m part excited / part nervous for you to see everything we’ve been through with this renovation – warts and all! As soon as we have the date we will let you know!
“But we are DONE!! It’s been emotional.” She ended the post with some crying emojis as the comments filled with support. One wrote: “Wow! That was quick! Can’t wait to see it all.”
Another added: “Brilliant, glad it’s all been worth it!!” While a third said: “You are looking fantastic and I am looking forward to seeing your renovation.”
When the show was first announced by Channel 4, Jasmine said: “Moving abroad has been completely different to what I expected and dreamed of.
“I never wanted to take on a renovation project but somehow, we fell in love with this house. I’ve seen it so many times with my own house hunters – sometimes it just feels right.”
She added: “Moving house can be stressful at the best of times. But, changing country renovating a property, raising our family – all the while having a TV crew following you around, is next level! All the same, we feel like this is the best move for our family and we’re so excited to get started.”
