Friends of the couple confirmed to The Sun that the relationship was “over”.

Since then, fans have been busy speculating about the sudden split, and who dumped who.

Followers of the couple have come up with three clues that Harrison, 22, was the one who ended things with Lauren, 26.

They also claim that he “blindsided” her.

Fans think this was a sign that Harrison broke things off.

“I feel like the effort for her to say it was ‘mutual’ most likely means it wasn’t,” this fan added.

The third clue was when a fan said: “It was inevitable based on how he was in every post of hers and she was in none of his.”

Over the last few days Lauren has posted several videos with Harrison, but she hasn’t featured in his.

After The Sun revealed that the Love Island couple had split, Lauren said: “Hi everyone, Harrison and I have decided to no longer continue our relationship but will remain friends as everything was amicable and mutual.

Meanwhile, a source told The Sun: “It’s over – they’re both really upset but it wasn’t working.”

The break-up news came just days after fans feared something was amiss when Harrison jetted off for a holiday to Dubai with no sign of Lauren.

Lauren and Harrison’s relationship was never a smooth one.

With a messy love triangle between the pair and Toni Laites, which drew criticism from charity Women’s Aid, their relationship was tested in Casa Amor.

Viewers saw tensions between the two girls rise as they fought over him.

Harrison was called the “lowest of the low” by fans who were eager for producers to step in and axe the “damaging boy” – prior to his exit.

Harrison then quit the series in explosive scenes, just 24 hours after Lauren was dumped from the villa.

Yet fans were then quick to slam what they deemed to be the footballer’s “scripted” apology.

After rekindling their connection in the real world, they were rocked by post-villa split rumours.
