Recently, the co-hosts of The View received a visit from actor Mario Cantone during an episode airing on June 20, 2025. He is best known for appearing on Sex and the City and its spin-off, And Just Like That…, as Anthony Marentino. Before Cantone appeared, Behar and the other panelists finished a segment talking about the “Ozempic penis.” This was an alleged side effect where men using the drug appear to have seen growth in their genitals.

When Cantone appeared, he admitted he was nervous about working on a sex scene with a younger co-star, Sebastiano Pigazzi. He teased, “The juxtaposition is horrifying cause he’s, you know, 12, and I’m 97. I didn’t sleep the night before. But my DMs blew up! It was very nice, the boys came out!”

Joy Behar Wasn’t The Only One To Make Jokes Concerning Ozempic

Behar joked he should give the Ozempic medication a try. As she teased, “Can we suggest, perhaps, the Ozempic for you?”

Cantone had a sense of humor about the situation. He noted, “No, the Ozempic thing, it’s only because they can finally see it. And I don’t need it. I’m Italian!”

Behar also had a few jokes about the alleged side effect. She teased it might not be necessary for actors. As she mentioned, “You know what guys, you don’t need Ozempic. Just go on TV and drop your pants. The camera adds 10 pounds, try that.” She later teased, “It’s an optical illusion, like when you look in the side mirror and it says, ‘Objects look bigger than they appear to be.’”

Behar wasn’t the only co-host to crack a joke about the medication. Alyssa Farah Griffin also joked, “Of course men get a good side effect and women wouldn’t.”
