THE BBC has confirmed the return date for Michelle Keegan’s hugely successful drama Ten Pound Poms and shared a first look at the brand new series.
Michelle, who is currently pregnant with her first child, will be reprising the role of nurse Kate Thorne who travelled to Australia to track down her son.

The second series of the programme will see Kate and the gang head into the year 1957 with everyone determined to finally settle and feel peace and relaxation Down Under.
The show follows a group of Brits leaving post-war Britain to embark on a life-changing adventure on the other side of the world.
Now, fans don’t have long left to wait to tune into the show and catch up on all the action.
Ten Pound Poms has been handed a coveted Sunday evening slot on BBC One at 8pm.
The show will launch on Sunday 9 March and it will follow weekly on the channel.
Alternatively, fans that are desperate to see all the action in one go are in luck.
All episodes will drop on BBC iPlayer for streaming that morning meaning the show can be watched as a boxset.
New first-look images at the programme show Michelle looking exquisite in character as Kate.
In one shot, she dons a floaty green dress with a patterned bottom.
In another shot, she can be seen wearing one of Kate’s signature headwear pieces as she chats to Faye Marsay’s character, Annie.

The first series of the drama, which is produced by Eleven and co-produced by Stan and the BBC, was extremely well received and fans have been eagerly waiting for a second series.
The new series will also introduce some exciting new characters, including the Skinner family, fresh from Ireland and the unscrupulous landlord Benny Bates.
Series one of the post-WW2 migration drama became one of the nation’s most prominent new TV series to be launched last year, amassing a 28-day figure of 7.7 million viewers.
It was awarded two Golden Nymphs at the 62nd Annual Monte Carlo Television Festival for Best Series, with Warren’s portrayal of Terry winning Best Actor.
