THE Cincinnati Bengals have thanked police for solving the burglary of star quarterback Joe Burrow.
Burrow had his home broken into on December 9, and many other high-profile athletes soon followed.

The suspects in the robbery have since been apprehended and action is being taken to charge them for their crimes.
Now, the Bengals have shared their thanks with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department for how they handled the situation.
“The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department and their partner agencies at the local, state, and federal level did a wonderful job investigating the crime and bringing bad actors to justice,” the team said in a statement.
“The Cincinnati Bengals would like to thank them for their efforts and extend our sincere appreciation for their good work.
“We recognize there was a tremendous amount of complex investigative work that led to these indictments, and the Sheriff’s Department was exemplary in this work.
“The Bengals have worked with the Sheriff’s Department for decades on many matters, and we know them to be a real source of strength and pride for the community.
“The Bengals appreciate their good work and will continue to fully support their efforts as the criminal process moves forward.”
The group of robbers were arrested during a traffic stop in Clark County last month.
They face charges of transporting stolen goods interstate and falsifying records in a federal investigation.
The four men linked to the robbery can be seen posing in the jewelry they stole from Burrow in a picture they took, which has been entered into court documents.

Personalized diamond chains and watches were recovered from the thieves.
Bastian Morales, 23, Jordan Sanchez, 22, and Sergio Cabello, 38, have been federally charged in connection to the break-in.
Alexander Chavez, 24, has not yet been charged federally but is charged in Clark County, Nevada.
The robbers took over $300,000 in luxury items from Burrow’s home, according to prosecutors.
Burrow is just one of many pro athletes who have been burglarized over the past few months.

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce notably had their homes broken into during the NFL regular season.
NBA star Luka Doncic also had his Dallas property broken into before he was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa issued a stark warning to anyone attempting to rob his home.
“I have personal security just because my house had gotten broken into … one of my cars,” Tagovailoa said.
“It’s a little too close for my comfort with my family being in the house.
“So, we got personal security to take care of all of that. When we’re on the road, we got someone with my wife and we got someone also at the house surveying the house.
“So just let that be known, they are armed. So I hope if you decide to go to my house, you think twice.”
