The BBC spin-off show It Takes Two issued an “exclusive” tease as a guest made an “exciting” announcement. At the start of the programme, host Fleur East spoke to former contestant Layton Williams, who appeared on the show back in 2023. Before discussing the current semi-finalists, Fleur said to Layton, “You have something to tease us?” to which Layton explained that he would be making an announcement on Monday about the upcoming Strictly Live! Tour. A shocked Fleur said: “It’s an exclusive! That’s very exciting news.” Layton was a runner-up during the 2023 series alongside Nikita Kuzmin.
The annual Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour will be back in the new year with a wide range of this year’s contestants battling it out for the Glitter Ball trophy across several arenas in the UK.

Last year, the live tour was shrouded in scandal after GoCompare opera singer Wynne Evans was axed from the show’s live tour.
In May this year, he was dropped by the BBC after using “inappropriate language” during the Strictly tour launch.
The 53-year-old has since insisted he takes “total responsibility” for making a comment that was deemed sexually inappropriate during a photo call, but admitted he struggled to cope since being axed from the Strictly Come Dancing tour and having his radio show taken off air.
Speaking on Nick Ferrari’s LBC show, Evans previously explained: “I said the word so I should have accountability for that, and I wasn’t ready for that level of scrutiny, and I shouldn’t have done it. And that’s it.
“I wouldn’t blame anybody other than myself. I totally take that as my responsibility and something that I shouldn’t have done, and I will regret that for the rest of my life.”
Back in May, he confirmed the BBC was not renewing his contract, but unveiled plans for his new radio show.
He wrote on Instagram: “But here’s what I believe with everything I’ve got: what we built cannot end here. So – deep breath – here goes… We’re getting the band back together. […]
“This is our next adventure. And I need you more than ever. We will have great music, my question of the day, the mystery voice, your soundtrack stories and so much more, because we have each other again.”
Strictly Come Dancing resumes this Saturday and Sunday on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
