BREAKING: BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty was BRUTALLY 𝘈𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘥 by a group of teenagers on a train and her RESPONSE left everyone around STUNNED

BBC Breakfast host Naga Munchetty has addressed an awful ordeal she dealt with while on a train. Naga, who was a few years older than the teens at the time, said two young boys, aged around 15-16, headed towards her as she was stood by the doors. While the train was approaching the platform, she said one of them grabbed her and pinched her.
In the moment when it happened, she turned around and 𝘱𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘥 one of the boys and then swore at them, though she added: “I’m not saying that was right, but it was an instant reaction.”

Naga admitted she then feared what would happen next as she was a woman on her own and she was only a few years older than them at the time. She told Daily Mail that she felt fortunate to be getting off the train at the time.
Naga spoke of her experience in the months after the presenter faced other adversities in her life, such as being placed “under review” after being accused of bullying a junior member of staff.
She hasn’t commented on the claims, but was spoken to by executives at the time.
A BBC spokesperson previously said: “While we do not comment on individual cases, we take all complaints about conduct at work extremely seriously and will not tolerate behaviour that is not in line with our values.
“We have robust processes in place and would encourage any staff with concerns to raise them directly with us so they can be addressed.”

It was reported at the time that the BBC had placed the comments “under review” to determine whether a full investigation needed to be had.
It had also been claimed that she faced complaints on 5 Live including a bullying claim and the use of crude, sexual language. The Sun claimed that bosses were forced to issue an apology on her behalf following a tense interview with Spice Girl Geri Horner in 2023.
Munchetty started working on BBC Breakfast back in 2014 and covers the morning show from Thursday to Saturday alongside veteran broadcaster Stayt, as well as hosting a Radio 5 programme three times a week. She is currently the BBC’s 10th highest earner, taking home approximately £355,000 a year.
