BREAKING: BBC star Alex Jones makes URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT after being TERR0RISED by a homeless man

BBC presenter Alex Jones endured a stalking nightmare after a homeless man bombarded her with s3xually explicit messages and repeatedly turned up at BBC studios during a 17-month harassment campaign. Between April 2014 and September 2015,the man in question sent The One Show host a series of disturbing tweets and love messages leaving her so distressed she was too afraid to face him in court. The Welsh presenter, who rose to fame fronting the primetime BBC show, was said to be “nervous, anxious and vulnerable” during the ordeal.
Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard at the time Shane Goldsmith had targeted Alex after becoming fixated on her an unearthed report revealed. The prosecution said he also turned up uninvited at BBC Broadcasting House in London and even verbally abused her colleagues during filming. Goldsmith faced one count of harassment, but the Crown Prosecution Service agreed not to pursue the charge after he accepted a restraining order banning him from contacting Alex or approaching her home or workplace.

A court source said Alex was “happy” with the outcome as it meant she did not have to relive her ordeal in person. She had been due to give evidence from behind a screen but did not attend the hearing in 2017.

Alex recently celebrated 15 years as host of The One Show.
She previously told the BBC: “I feel incredibly proud to have been on the iconic sofa for all these years. It certainly doesn’t feel like 15 years, and it still feels fresh, as the show keeps evolving. I feel like we keep coming back better and better.
“I started as a young girl and I feel like I’ve grown up with our viewers. They have seen me through all my big life moments like getting engaged and married, to having children. Our viewers are like extended family by now!”
