EastEnders has confirmed the date of Martin Fowler’s funeral in new advanced spoilers.
Last month, Martin risked his life after the explosion in The Vic to save his ex-wife Stacey, but he got trapped himself by a falling beam.
He spent his final moments with Stacey. The pair confessed their love for one another before Martin tragically d!ed.
Since then, Martin’s funeral arrangements have caused tension between many Walford locals. Stacey is currently visiting her brother Sean, so has been absent from most of the planning.
Next week, Martin’s niece Vicki will return to the Square with her new family ahead of the funeral, while his daughter Bex will also come home to say goodbye.

Now, new spoilers released by the BBC have confirmed that Martin’s funeral will take place on Monday, April 7, as his loved ones gather to say goodbye.
Stacey will come back for the sad occasion, with Lacey Turner pictured in filming snaps from the funeral, but in the aftermath, she will be at “loggerheads” with her love rival Ruby.
As the week continues, Stacey is “on the warpath”, while Ruby makes an important choice. What does she decide to do?
