A woman has been arrested in connection with the d3ath of Super Bowl reporter Adan Manzano following an event that has rocked the proceedings in New Orleans.

News of Manzano’s d3ath broke just days before the big game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs. The reporter was only 27 years old.

Like many other football journalists, Manzano headed down to said city this week to cover the game. The Telemundo Kansas City and Tico sports reporter was at Patrick Mahomes’ media session on opening night during the week and shared a photo of the Chiefs quarterback to X, which turned out to be his final tweet.

While details are still very sketchy, Kenner police have arrested a woman in connection with the incident.

Woman Caught Using Super Bowl Reporter’s Credit Card

According to FOX8, Danette Colbert was allegedly caught using the reporter’s credit card at several stores in New Orleans after being spotted with him on Wednesday morning. She was later seen leaving his hotel room, where he was found unresponsive sometime after.

Colbert is only facing theft and fraud-related charges at the moment, though she is alleged to have previously drugged men.

She could face more serious charges later on, but investigations are still ongoing, and it’s still too early to tell.

Manzano is survived by his young daughter. Our hearts go out to her and the rest of his family.
