Is Hoda Kotb Coming Back To Co-Host With Jenna?

At the end of 2024, Today Show anchor Hoda Kotb announced that her time on the show was coming to an end. It was something she had been contemplating, but finally felt she had clarity as to what she was meant to do. Having kids later in life also prompted her exit, as she wanted to enjoy time with them and be a regular mother. Viewers and her colleagues were devastated that she was leaving, but understood her reasons. At the beginning of 2025, she took her final bow. That was when Jenna Bush Hager took over their show, bringing in fresh faces every week.

On the Friday, May 23rd episode of Jenna & Friends, Jenna Bush Hager was joined by Savannah Guthrie. She dropped hints of a special co-host coming in on Wednesday, May 28th:

“I have a clue ready. They are a former basketball star turned best-selling author. Who is it? Nobody knows.”

Savannah noted that Jenna never said the gender of this mystery person, which was fair. Jenna added that she was not giving any more information, leaving Savannah at a loss.

Immediately, viewers chimed in and believed that Hoda was the special, mystery person.

Although Jenna Bush Hager did not explicitly say who her Today With Jenna & Friends co-host would be on Wednesday, May 28th.
