BREAKING: ITV issues URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT as Kaye Adams Loose Women pulled from air after DISASTROUS meeting

Insiders at ITV have shared an update on Kaye Adams after she was taken off-air from her BBC radio role.
The journalist, 62, first appeared on the broadcaster’s very first episode of Loose Women in 1999, where she served as anchor alongside EastEnders actress Nadia Sawalha, Jane Moore, and Baroness Karren Brady.
She stayed with the programme until 2002, but made a comeback in 2013 and has remained with the show every since. Alongside her Loose Women gig, Kaye has held a £155,000 a year job as the host of her own show on BBC Radio Scotland.
The former Strictly Come Dancing star usually hosts Mornings With Kaye Adams several days a week but the show has been off-air for two weeks now after it was reported that bosses had launched an inquiry into complaints that she ‘shouted and screamed’ at junior staff.

Following the furore, ITV are now said to be standing by Kaye and will allow her to continue hosting Loose Women during the inquiry.
A source told the Daily Mail: “Kaye is regarded as one of the more calm members of the Loose Women cast.” It is thought that the complaints came about through the BBC’s Call It Out scheme, which was set up to deal with questionable behaviour after the scandal involving former MasterChef presenters John Torode and Gregg Wallace unfolded.
A source from the BBC confirmed to the outlet that Kaye is not expected to return to her radio show for at least two weeks, but a spokesperson for the TV star insisted that “no complaints had been presented to her by the BBC.”
They added: “Further, she has worked for BBC Radio Scotland for more than 15 years and in that time has never had any issue raised about her.” BBC Scotland did not comment on the matter, but one insider has explained that bosses are ‘taking these things seriously’ in light of recent events.
The source said: “Kaye has been taken off air, she’s gone. There have been complaints about her behaviour, and they’ve removed her while they investigate it. It’s being talked about all over Pacific Quay [BBC Scotland’s headquarters]. The outlet also claimed that Kaye had recently attended a meeting with the new head of audio, Victoria Easton-Riley, but it ‘did not go well’.
“After the Gregg Wallace fiasco, they’re now getting much tougher on complaints about the talent and are starting to take these things seriously.”
MasterChef hoste Wallace was dismissed from the BBC show following an independent investigation into historical allegations of misconduct. The report found 45 allegations of misconduct were substantiated, including inappropriate language and humour. Meanwhile, his co-star John Torode was alleged to have used a racist slur and was also dropped from the series.
BBC Scotland have refused to comment on the allegation but said that Adams has not left the organisation permanently. The BBC said it has “robust internal processes” to handing concerns like these.
The BBC said: “We would not comment on individuals. If any complaints or concerns are raised, we have robust internal processes in place to manage these.” The Mirror has reached out to representatives for Kaye Adams.
It is believed the complaint was raised under the BBC’s Call It Out scheme to address poor behaviour in the workplace which is an initiative set up in the aftermath of the scandal over former MasterChef presenter Gregg Wallace. Kaye has been replaced on air by Connie McLaughlin while investigations are ongoing.
This comes as Kaye recently opened up about her recent health scare after attending a Pilates class that left her “really scared” she was having a stroke.
Kaye explained that at a reformer Pilates class she went to over the weekend, she was hit by a wave of dizziness and lost her balance.
Opening up about the experience on the How to be 60 podcast, she shared that the “horrible” physical feelings made her fear the worst was happening. “Do you know what I’ve had recently, it’s the funniest thing,” she started. “I went to my Pilates last Sunday, the reformer Pilates, I call it disco Pilates, because it’s all bright lights and music.
“I got off the reformer and my goodness the world began to spin. Like a Tom and Jerry cartoon when there’s birds going around the head. I thought, ‘Oh my God I’m having a stroke’.”
She added: “I was really scared actually, it was horrible. I just couldn’t get my balance.” Kaye continued to admit that what was actually happening was “really weird”. She concluded: “I’ve checked it out and apparently it’s vertigo. Apparently it’s crystals in your ear that get dislodged and you can be prone to it. It’s a really weird thing.”
