BREAKING: Kelvin Fletcher Admits “It’s Not Been Easy” As He Issues Emotional Update On Farmhouse Fire—Fans Rally Behind Him After Heartfelt Revelation

On Sunday afternoon, a fresh instalment of Fletcher’s Family Farm saw the former Emmerdale actor and his family get ready for the Royal Cheshire Show.
Throughout the programme, Kelvin Fletcher, who recently revealed some new arrivals expected on the farm, looked after his cattle in preparation.

In a voiceover, Kelvin informed ITV audiences that managing the farm efficiently has lately had its fair share of ‘challenges’.
He said: “We’ve had a lot of upheaval in our lives after a fire in the farmhouse meant we had to move into temporary rented accommodation.
“While I don’t want to add extra stress, there’s one event in the farming calendar I think is worth adding to our to-do list.”
Chatting to his son, Kelvin revealed they would be heading to the Royal Cheshire Show in a few weeks’ time, reports the Mirror.
Kelvin mentioned to his son they’d be bringing their calves along to the occasion, which delighted the toddler, who chuckled at the prospect of parading them around on a lead.
Elsewhere in the episode, Kelvin outlined one of the ‘hardest things’ to tackle regarding farm life, staying on top of maintenance. Nevertheless, he shared with ITV audiences that every Thursday, a team of volunteers from the David Lewis Centre provide their assistance.
Kelvin, who serves as an ambassador for the charity, said: “As well as supporting fundraising events, they’ve become a big part of our lives on the farm too.”

Whilst the 41-year-old was tending to some hedges, he admitted that maintaining a farm is ‘huge’ and praised the assistance of volunteers.
He added: “It’s not been easy for us as a family these last few months, it’s been really challenging at times because of the fire. So, to have little jobs like this to have help with, it’s made a massive impact.”
The fire occurred last October, when the family were enjoying their first holiday as a family of six. After receiving a call from their neighbour about the blaze, they found their home was uninhabitable, forcing them to temporarily vacate.
During an appearance on This Morning, Kelvin remarked: “It was heartbreaking. We got back, and we obviously weren’t there, so we weren’t harmed, and the animals were ok.
“For us, we took great positives in the fact that we weren’t hurt. It’s just a huge inconvenience; the restorations have started, so there’s light at the end of the tunnel.”
