BREAKING NEWS: Celebrity Gogglebox star Johnny Vaughan makes HEARTBREAKING ANNOUNCEMENT

One of the stars of Channel 4’s Celebrity Gogglebox has made the heartbreaking revelation that his father has d!ed at the age of 91. Radio and TV legend Johnny Vaughan took to Instagram to share images of his dad, Randall, along with the news. “My Dearest Dad has gone and I’m so very sad,” he said. He then shared a quote which read: “I will find you in the morning sun and when the night is new: I’ll be looking at the moon but I’ll be seeing you.”
His celebrity friends were quick to offer their condolences, flooding his comments with their messages of sympathy. His Big Breakfast and Celebrity Gogglebox co-star Denise Van Outen wrote: “Thinking of you, Johnny. Sending you the biggest hug.” Kelly Brook penned: “So sorry to hear this, sending you all the love in the world.” Former WAG Lizzie Cundy wrote: “So very sorry.” Meanwhile, fellow broadcaster Kate Thornton added: “So sorry for your loss x.”

Fans also expressed their condolences: “Sorry for your loss, Johnny. Almost a year ago, I lost my Dad. I messaged you and asked if you could give him a posthumous honorary salute, which you did. So on behalf of myself and all the listeners, to your Dad. We salute you. Rest in peace,” one posted.
Meanwhile, another fan said, “So sad to hear this, Johnny. Most will agree that although we never had the pleasure of meeting him, we felt that we all knew him through your amazing stories.”
Johnny frequently shared stories and anecdotes about Randall. Last July, he wrote a sweet post to commemorate his father’s 90th birthday.
Sharing a sweet snap of the two men sitting beside each other, he wrote, “Happy 90th Birthday to my Dad. We share the same birthday, so it’s normally a two-man celebration: This year it was all about my dear ol’ dad. Here’s to the BIG 100,” he concluded the caption.
Writing for MailOnline in 2012, Johnny had described his engineer father as his “hero”. At the age of seven he and his family moved up the country to the Midlands because of his father’s work.

He recalled how his education was divided between the exclusive Uppingham boarding school in Rutland and a North London state school.
“My life has been horribly eclectic. Whenever I get down, I remember I’ve been through worse,” he said. “My Dad is my hero. We lost everything, and my parents split up at the same time,” he reflected.
“Dad could no longer afford the school fees, but I was allowed to stay on, and he was still paying them ten years later. It was as if I had a scholarship, even though I wasn’t particularly bright!”
