BREAKING NEWS: GOGGLEBOX star Sophie Sandiford makes BIG ANNOUNCEMENT that gets fans excited

Sharing snaps on social media, Sophie simply wrote: “WE’RE ENGAGED.”

Sophie announced the news again in Friday’s episode of Gogglebox, once again flashing her diamond ring.

Her brother Pete joked, “I won’t have anybody say you’re milking this.”

She played the Chapel of Love song by The Dixie Cups.

As the show opened, Smiling Sophie admitted, “Well, it’s not every day you get engaged.”

Her fans and Gogglebox co-stars rushed to share sweet messages in her announcement post’s comments.

Jenny and Lee were amongst the first, writing: “Congratulations to you both much love to ya Jenny and Lee x”

Amy Childs penned, “So happy for you xxxx”

Another fan commented, “Ekkkk congrats! Please let me photograph your wedding!! I love you and your bro on Googlebox!”

Someone else said, “Congratulations, the ring is beautiful.”

The loved-up couple started dating in 2022.

Sophie went public with her beau Ben when she shared a picture of them at a wedding .

The Irishman was given the seal of approval from her famous uncle Paul Chuckle, who was also a guest at the nuptials.

Sophie revealed her brother Pete’s first words to Ben as the siblings bickered over his height on Gogglebox.

She said: “You, first time meeting him ‘oh, I thought you’d be taller,’ as you looked up at him. And then saying ‘I thought you were at least 6ft’ when he is 6ft.”

Screwing his face up, Pete said: “He doesn’t look 6ft.”

He then said: “Lies, already built on lies.”

Sophie hit back: “Just because he makes you look like one of the Borrowers.”

Sophie, 24, was seen beaming beside Ben, Pete, 26, and his wife Paige in an Instagram snap from the recent wedding.

Comic legend Paul commented on a snap: “Looking good guys great to see you all yesterday with @juliejohnson31 @cunny246 to celebrate Jack and @emma_louuise_ wedding..

“you all look stunning but didn’t look like that at end of the night!”

Fans are used to seeing Sophie sitting on the sofa alongside her brother Pete for the hit Channel 4 show.

The siblings joined the show back in 2018, but don’t often show much of their private lives.

 

Sophie was previously working in Debenhams, but in 2021 she revealed she was made redundant when the department store chain collapsed and closed stores across the UK.

She has since qualified and now has her own business called Petali Floristry.
