BREAKING NEWS: Gogglebox stars Dave and Shirley Griffiths have given an IMPORTANT UPDATE following the SH0CK news of their DEPARTURE from the show
Gogglebox favourites Dave and Shirley Griffiths have delivered a massive programme announcement in the wake of their fellow star’s departure.
The Welsh duo initially appeared on the Channel 4 series back in 2015 – and quickly established themselves as audience darlings.

Throughout the years, Dave and Shirley – who have been wed for 49 years – have left viewers in hysterics with their side-splitting remarks.
They last graced screens in May this year during the programme’s 26th series. However, the pair have now provided a significant revelation regarding when supporters can anticipate a fresh series, reports Manchester Evening News.
This month, Dave and Shirley posted an adorable snapshot of themselves during their getaway. Standing outdoors, the duo grinned at the lens whilst displaying their newly-acquired sun-kissed glow.
Admirers quickly flooded the comments to praise the beloved couple. One individual commented: “Lovely photo of you both. Love you two on Gogglebox you make me smile.”
Another devoted supporter penned: “Awww that’s a great photo of you both, enjoy yourselves.” A third added: “Lovely photo of you both, can’t wait to see you back on.”
Furthermore, one enthusiast questioned Dave and Shirley about when they would commence recording for Gogglebox’s upcoming series. They enquired: “When you starting filming for gogglebox again @dave_shirl_gogglebox.?”. Dave and Shirley subsequently responded: “end of August mate won’t be long.” The supporter replied: “Ah mate | cannot wait.”

The upcoming series of Gogglebox will have a distinctly different feel, after it emerged in July that Roisin Kelly and Joe Kyle wouldn’t be making a comeback.
The duo etched their names into Gogglebox folklore as the inaugural Scottish couple to feature on the programme back in February 2022.
Breaking the news of their exit from the Channel 4 programme, Roisin turned to TikTok to deliver the disappointing revelation, penning: “After three and a half years of sitting on the sofa channel 4 have decided it’s time for Joe and I to stretch our legs and have not asked us back for season 26.”
