BREAKING NEWS: Strictly Come Dancing result leaves fans ‘DEVASTATED’ as BELOVED star sent home

Strictly fans were left “devastated” as another star was eliminated from the BBC dance competition. It was revealed that Alex Kingston and Johannes were in the bottom two alongside Balvinder Sopal and Julian.
When it came to the judges’ decision, Anton du Beke chose to save Alex, while Craig chose to save Balvinder. Motsi Mabuse also saved Balvinder, so it was Shirley Ballas with the final deciding vote. She opted to save Balvinder, who will advance to the quarter-finals.

However, it was time to say goodbye to Alex and Johannes.
Viewers at home were left emotional by Alex’s departure from the show. One person said on X: “So upset for Alex, my darling angel, but she’s done so well, and considering she’s been injured two weeks in a row, I think she’s gone out with grace.”
A second also said: “You were robbed, Alex. Light years better in literally every way and class through and through.” A third said: “Actually devastated. Alex Kingston, the woman that you are.”
Another said: “Devastated. But I’m just glad Alex will get to rest & recover now. She’s done so well, what an incredible woman she is. 62 years old and smashed it.”
Despite her departure, Alex was still proud of herself.
She said: “I had never in my wildest dreams imagined that I would last this long. It’s been just the most incredible journey for me. I feel quite proud of myself because I’ve loved the process, I mean 100%, you can tell by my smile. Everyone always says that their dance partner is a friend for life, but JoJo really will be.”
Meanwhile, Johannes said: “I’ve never grinned as much as I have in the last few weeks. Thank you Alex for being a trooper, I will hold on to the memories. As far as the dancing goes, I think we’ve achieved what we wanted to achieve. These memories are just the beginning for us, we can say that we are very much a Strictly family.”
The results show featured Myles Smith performing Stay (If You Wanna Dance) accompanied by a performance from Kai Widdrington and Karen Hauer, while Oti Mabuse and her husband Marius Lepure choreographed a Rumba for the professionals to Grace Carter’s Wicked Game.
