Caitlin Clark has been seen sitting in Taylor Swift’s suite at the Kansas City Chiefs playoff showdown against the Houston Texans with the pop superstar repaying the WNBA rookie sensation

Taylor Swift made good on her promise to invite Caitlin Clark to a Chiefs game as the WNBA star was spotted in Travis Kelce’s suite for their NFL Playoff opener in Kansas City.

Clark watched Swift during her Eras Tour and revealed in a recent interview that the pop megastar had sent her a handwritten note vowing to invite her to a game and also saying her and Travis planned to watch her in an Indiana Fever game.

Clark was seen in Swift’s suite for the Chiefs’ divisional round game against the Houston Texans. The former Iowa standout grew up a big Chiefs fan and recently appeared with Travis and brother Jason on their podcast, “New Heights”.

Swift has been a regular at Chiefs games over the past 15 months since beginning a relationship with tight end Kelce. She jetted to Kansas City to support him in the post-season game with Clark spotted sat alongside her.

The pop sensation became aware that Clark had enjoyed herself at a few of her shows over the years. She promised to repay her and come to one of her games in the future.

Speaking on Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast, Clark explained how she became a fan of the Chiefs, stating: “I had family in Kansas City and I grew up in Des Moines, Iowa, which is only three hours from Kansas City, so that’s just the closest NFL team.

“My dad was a big Chiefs fan growing up. People think I’m like a bandwagon Chiefs fan, I’m like, ‘No, I was there before Patrick (Mahomes) and Travis.’ We were ride or dies, so we’ve been big fans.”

While being a huge Swift fan herself, Clark admitted that she also made her mother a ‘Swiftie’ after they had been to one of her shows together.

“My mom was begging me to take her,” Clark said. “She was like, ‘I gotta go, everybody is talking about it.’ I’m like, ‘OK, OK,’ I turned my mom into a full Swiftie. Two of my cousins were there. Good time!”

Kelce himself appears to have formed a friendship with Clark, speaking on meeting her at one of Swift’s shows last year.

He said: “It was fun. Saw Caitlin Clark out there, got to meet Caitlin. She loves being out there in Indianapolis, says it’s a fun city and we’re both just true Midwesterners to the heart, you know? Played high school ball, college ball, pro ball all out here in the Midwest and it was cool catching up with her.

“She was into the show, for sure. She was there with her mom and a few friends. She’s a Swiftie, through and through. [She was] getting everybody to experience Tay up there on stage making the entire 69,000, 70,000 people go ——- nuts for four hours.”
