On Saturday, Vicky and Kai impressed judges by dancing the Cha Cha to Best of My Love by Ella Eyre and were awarded 24 points.
After admitting she was nervous for feedback from the panel, the star shared: “I don’t even know. I was so scared beforehand and I just didn’t know what they were going to say and the fact there are some nice bits in there I’m shocked.”
For week two, they will return to slow things down with the Foxtrot to Sam Fender and Olivia Dean’s Rein Me In.
As the routines and song choices were revealed, the star shared her excitement for their upcoming performance on Instagram, writing “Let’s Go @kaiwidd” to her professional partner.
Kai also praised Vicky’s dedication to the show as she shared: “I think Vicky has proven anyone can do anything if they put their mind to it. This one is a little trooper she was a bag of nerves beforehand but I said ‘it’s just me and you dancing out there’ and she smashed it.”
