BREAKINGNEWS Eastenders Star HEATHER PEACE Brings Hope To Fans As She Shares An Encouraging And Positive UPDATE About Her Health And RECOVERY Following Her Recent CANCER Treatment Journey.

The star, who plays Eve Panesar-Unwin on the BBC One soap, shared last month that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer in October.
She underwent surgery and recovery over the Christmas period and stated last month that her “journey” had “ended” and she’s since finished chemotherapy.
In an interview on The 94% Podcast, Peace spoke about how she’s been pursuing fitness since her treatment to keep a healthy body and mind.
“I think coming through what I’ve come through, I think [fitness] will be instrumental for the rest of my life,” she said.

“It’s now that I need to absolutely focus in on that otherwise I’m just accepting deterioration. I won’t accept it at all. I want to be fit and I want to be strong. It’s such a good feeling when you’re at your top.”
Peace also stated that returning to EastEnders was important for her recovery, as her fellow castmates have been a major source of support.
“I needed work as well. I needed that for my mental health,” she continued. “I have a fantastic cast of friends who just absolutely enveloped me and made me feel safe.
“A day at work just absolutely lifted my spirits and made me laugh and made me feel loved. I felt very vulnerable. I felt I lost a bit of my confidence, but it’s coming back now.”

On EastEnders, things have been relatively quiet for Eve and Suki recently after their dramatic New Year’s wedding, but Suki actor Balvinder Sopal recently teased that new show boss Ben Wadey has a lot in store for the couple.
“Ben Wadey introduced Suki! So he’s definitely a fan of Suki,” Sopal exclusively told Digital Spy earlier this month.
“Then the other day, he did to say to me, we’re his favourites. Not really! No, he is a fan, yeah. Absolutely. And we’ve got some wonderful stuff coming up.”
EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
