CORONATION Street star Nigel Havers has revealed he was caught having a threesome in bed by his dad.

When the beloved actor, 73, was much younger and living at home, he was in bed with two girls when his father caught him in the act after he arrived home unexpectedly.

Caught red-handed while having a threesome, the incident happened when his father Sir Michael Havers was working as a lawyer and future Attorney General.

His father had a flat at the Inns of Court, and when Nigel’s dad wasn’t in town, it was transformed into a bachelor pad.

Recalling the time he was caught having a threesome, Nigel said: “One Saturday night I had a few people over for an evening; some cocktails and food.

“And then we all bunked down, as they say. About nine or ten o’clock the next morning, I heard a key turning and I thought, ‘Oh my God! Who’s that?’

“The next thing I knew my father walked in,” he revealed, as per MailOnline.

“I was in his bedroom, in his bed, which was not a good place to be, with a couple of girls.

“I had to make them disappear quickly. And my father said, ‘I’ll be back in an hour and you’ll face the music.’

Nigel explained how they quickly tidied round, got the place together and asked everyone to leave.

‘DAD NEVER MENTIONED IT’

He then sat and waited for his father to return – but he didn’t.

“Dad never mentioned it. But I never did that again,” he confessed.

Nigel has also divulged his thoughts on modern-day dating.

The former Corrie star has said that he finds online dating baffling, admitting how he doesn’t think he’d be able to cope swiping left and right on the apps.

“I wouldn’t know how to do it, for a start. It must be so complicated. In that respect, I’m very glad I’m in my early 70s,” he said.

This chat homes hot off the heels of Nigel’s tour preparation.

ON THE ROAD

The actor, who has been an entertainer for more than five decades, will share “gloriously ridiculous” stories while delivering charm and wit on stage.

Kicking off his tour, Talking B*ll*cks, next month, Nigel will take to the stage in Norwich on March 15.

He will then visit Birmingham, London, Bath, Harrogate, Liverpool, and Guildford before wrapping up his tour in Shrewsbury on May 21.

Nigel has been married to Georgiana Bronfman since 2007, and was previously married to Polly Williams and Carolyn Cox.

Nigel and Carolyn were wed from 1974 until their divorce in 1989.

Nigel was married to Polly from 1989 until her death in 2004.
