CAN’T STOP CRYING: Davina McCall Shares UPDATE ON AFTERMATH of Brain Tumor Surgery Amid ENGAGEMENT

Monday’s episode of Loose Women saw Davina McCall open up about her latest projects, while also speaking openly about her health.
The 57-year-old TV presenter was interviewed by Jane Moore and Nadia Sawalha in a pre-recorded segment to promote her new book, Birthing, which focuses on the experience of giving birth, pregnancy and postpartum.
After opening up about giving birth to her children, Davina – who announced her engagement at the weekend – shared an update on her health, nearly one year after undergoing an operation to remove a benign brain tumour.

The surgery was performed in November 2024 after a colloid cyst was discovered during a health check-up, which Davina had been offered as part of her work surrounding the menopause.
Davina admitted that while she doesn’t worry much about having another tumour, she still struggles to talk about what she experienced without crying, but is determined to stop this.
“I have got this thing where I can’t stop crying. So, I cry a lot when I talk about it. But I’m going to try, I think,” Davina said as she held back tears.
She added: “I think, it’s about a trauma. It was traumatic, the experience. I feel amazing now! I really do. I am so happy, I can’t believe I am here, with you, everything is a joy. Getting up in the morning, having a coffee. I’m still in the joys of it.”
The TV star shared her hopes of moving on from what happened and managing her emotions in the future.
“I want to put it behind me. I feel great,” she told Nadia and Jane. “I want to stop crying! I want to stop.”
Davina has spoken on several occasions about her brain tumour surgery and previously praised her partner, hairdresser Michael Douglas, for his support throughout the entire process.
The couple have been an item for over seven years, after reportedly first meeting in the 2000s when Davina was the host of Big Brother, with Michael having styled her hair on occasion.
Davina, who was married to Matthew Robertson for 17 years, recently confirmed that she and Michael are engaged, after he secretly popped the question during the summer.
