There were tears and shock on Celebrity Big Brother on Thursday night, as Big Brother dropped a massive announcement.

The news left many of the stars reeling, admitting they were shocked by what had been shared. Big Brother’s news left Ella Rae Wise sobbing and being comforted by her housemates, as others were also upset.

But something about it also left many of them shocked, not expecting what was revealed. It was the announcement of who had been nominated by the stars for the next live eviction that led to plenty of tears.

Big Brother confirmed that retired athlete Daley Thompson and EastEnders star Patsy Palmer were the next two stars to face the public vote. One of them will be eliminated on Friday night with viewers now voting to save who they want to keep in.

As Big Brother named the nominated housemates, he shocked the housemates with the confirmation that only two people faced the chop this time. This left the stars gasping, with some confessing they didn’t expect just two names to be up.

Amid the shock of who was up, Daley said he was okay with it but he seemed unimpressed. Patsy agreed that she was fine either way, but soon there were tears.

Ella was left sobbing, admitting she was upset with Daley being nominated. Angellica Bell was also left crying over the vote, heading off to have a shower to take her mind off it.

As both stars were comforted it, it was clear other stars were feeling somber about the result but also the votes they had made. It comes after Patsy was saved from the last eviction on Tuesday.

Daley and Patsy – who has expressed interest in leaving the Big Brother house lately to reunite with her family – received the most nominations from their fellow housemates. It means that they are now up for eviction tomorrow night.

Four housemates voted for Daley as part of the house’s third opportunity to nominate each other, with Patsy among those who nominated him. He was also nominated by presenter Angellica , Love Island finalist Chris Hughes and comedian Donna Preston.

Patsy instead received five nominations. Angellica and Chris were among those who voted for the soap star. She was also nominated by RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard, former Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa and the Only Way is Essex ‘s Ella.

Viewers are being asked to vote to save their favourite of the two nominated housemates. The outcome of the vote will be revealed by hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best in tomorrow night’s live eviction ahead of an interview with the evictee.

The latest nominations come shortly after the second eviction, which took place on Tuesday night. Presenter Trisha Goddard was voted out of the Big Brother house that night after having been up against Patsy and Coronation Street star Jack P. Shepherd.
